      1. I know he would never say we are going to wipe out an entire civilization or “Open the F—in’ Strait, You Crazy B——s”

  1. AI reduced employment in occupations that are easily substituted by AI. But it increased employment in jobs that are “augmented” by AI — roles that rely on things that machines cannot replace, like human judgment.

By the numbers: Overall, AI raised the unemployment rate by just 0.1 percentage point, per Goldman.

Morgan Stanley came to a similar conclusion.

  2. Truth Social this morning.
    DonaldTrump:
Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards or you’ll be living in Hell. JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP 164 ReTruths 675 Likes Apr 05, 2026, 8:03′

Such an uplifting Easter message from the crazy man in the White House. Yeah, sure he is a Christian. Yeah, sure he is a nice guy.

    1. Iran as a glass parking lot surrounded by a 500-hole golf course with a mega casino and condos just might be an upgrade from what it is now… no?

          1. Same thing that is on the mind of many MAGA stalwarts…..It’s serious when, on the same day, Alex Jones, Marge Taylor Greene, and Tucker Carlson are all calling for Trump to be removed from office. But too much of the MAGA base is too vain, too embarrassed, and frankly too stupid to take ownership of any of this.

            1. They are spinning the rage machine to farm relevance from out from under the rocks they live under.

  3. As we get closer to the midterm elections, one has to wonder (and hope) who is next in line to be fired in the present administration. So far, it is just women who are getting fired, so will it be Linda McMahon (the “I love A1” lady) or Karoline Lyin’ Leavitt? I am sure he’d like to fire Amy Coney Barrett but he can’t. Maybe Scott Bessent?

      1. You have said that he was incapable (fixed that for your incapable skill level) of running anything. Now, you think he should have fired people? trump wanted Bondi to be better at going after his enemies, which is illegal and unethical. He also is mad that the Epstein files are still causing him trouble and she wasn’t capable of dealing with that. BamBam will find some other clients to scam. She is good at that and she learned from the master on how to lie and cover up.

        1. Wow. Biden chased his enemies and made up charges to try and convict them. Trump wanted the cronies who did illegal tasks charged.

      2. Guess the real Trump is starting to come into focus for many of the fan club. Candice Owens, a rabid trump supporter for years, is a prime example. “In early April 2026, comments attributed to Owens suggested the White House is occupied by “satanic Zionists” and called for the “Mad King Trump” to be removed, suggesting he is “deeply unwell”.”

          1. No, I am not. I mentioned he was gay because the owner of this site is anti-LGBTQ+ and I wondered why he is ok with Bessent and not other gays.

  4. California collects $322 billion in revenue annually and carries some of the highest tax rates in the country.

It spent $24 billion specifically on homelessness over five years.

Today, 187,000 Californians are still living on the streets – with Oakland alone posting a 9% increase in its homeless population during that same spending period.

Heritage Foundation’s Richard Stern put it plainly: California isn’t failing to solve homelessness despite its spending.

Its policies are producing exactly the result you’d expect when government agencies answer to no one.

    1. California is the nation’s largest “donor state,” paying significantly more in federal taxes than it receives in federal funding. In fiscal year 2024, Californians paid approximately $275.6 billion more to the federal government than they received back. Total federal tax contributions from California often exceed $600–$700 billion annually, with recent data showing an estimated $83.1 billion to $126 billion net imbalance, depending on COVID-19 funding inclusion

        1. Are the feds spending it wisely? No. They are spending $1 billion a day on his war on Iran. The national debt is now $39 trillion and is expected to reach $40 by fall. What happened to fiscal responsibility? trump wants to double our defense budget and cut all social programs. So again, no we are not spending it wisely.

          1. So, protecting our country from someone who wants to annihilate us ( nuke us ) is Bad?
But letting up to 15 million illegals in is OK? How much have we spent on them? And for what?

            1. Our country is already $39 trillion in debt. You are okay with adding on to that? I thought trump was going to rid us of our debt within the first year of his new presidency.

  5. One County. One-Fifth of Every Hospice Dollar in America.

Los Angeles County has more hospice providers than 36 states combined.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services estimated that LA County alone represents $3.5 billion in suspected hospice fraud – and that 18 percent of all hospice billing in the entire United States flows out of that single county.

The average LA County hospice bills Medicare roughly $29,000 per patient.

    The national average is $13,200.

      1. I thought trump’s DOGE team was rooting out fraud and abuse in the Medicare and Medicaid system. How did they miss this? Maybe the perps of this fraud were friends of donny. Seems like he pardons them and excuses their fines and restitution so it probably won’t make any difference if they find evidence of criminal doings.

              1. And who would that be? trump was President and DOGE was firing all those who might have voted for Biden.

                  1. You have really poor comprehension skills. He controls Congress, SCOTUS and POTUS. How could Schumer get around that?

                    1. Control means 60 people in the same party to get thing passed. Otherwise a majority is limited.

                    2. My point was simple. trump and his minions are doing nothing to help fix the problem. They are just creating more problems.

  6. “The Ukrainian Government and unspecified U.S. Government personnel, through USAID in Kyiv, reportedly developed a plan that would provide hundreds of millions of US taxpayer dollars to fund an infrastructure project for Ukraine that would be used as a cover to send approximately 90% of funds allocated to the DNC to fund Joe Biden’s reelection campaign,” the declassified summary of the intercepts stated.

“They were confident the project would be funded initially, even though at some time in the future the project would be disapproved as unnecessary. At this time, the money would already be allocated and impossible to return or use for a different purpose,” the report added.

The intercepts mentioned two American subcontractors as possible recipients of the money that would eventually be moved to Democratic coffers, officials said. The names are included in still classified raw spy data but were redacted from the declassified report

  7. After a rare and dramatic public hearing, a special House Ethics subcommittee on Friday found Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, D-Fla., guilty of 25 ethics charges, capping a three-year investigation into allegations she stole millions in federal relief funds and funneled some of that to her congressional campaign.

          1. Truth Social is about as big a bust as everything trump touches. TMTG stock (Truth Social) has dropped a whopping 68%. In April of 2025 it was trading at about $26.20 per share. As of Friday it’s still a dud at about $8.50.
Hope you sold early. I am sure gutfield has his shares under his pillow hoping that the Orange Fairy will stop by give him his money back.

            1. l am not like you. l do not buy shares of something l know nothing about. If Gutfeld has shares or not he will do fine.

              1. I always know what I’m buying. And I’m savvy enough to know that anything with the Trump name attached to it will fail because he is a criminal and wouldn’t hesitate to cheat anyone.

                    1. Improving comprehension skills involves active engagement with material, such as summarizing paragraphs in your own words, annotating texts, and asking questions before, during, and after reading. Consistently reading diverse, slightly challenging materials while monitoring understanding—and rereading when necessary—deepens retention and improves focus.

                    2. We do both have the ability to see trump’s bs for what it is, too bad you don’t have those skills.

                    3. Where would USA be if Kamal-head was elected… doomed worse than it is now? At least we are trying to avert complete societal collapse under DJT.

  8. You can cheer trump on all you want. That is your right but this woman knows exactly why you do it and who you are. Deep inside.

Every once in a while, something cuts through the noise and refuses to let you look away. This is one of those. It asks a very simple question: Who are we becoming? It’s long. It’s worth it.
    (From Gandalv, on Twitter. )
    “Robert Mueller died last night.
He was 81 years old. He had a wife who loved him for sixty years. He had two daughters, one of whom he met for the first time in Hawaii, in 1969, on a few hours of military leave, before he got back on the plane and returned to Vietnam. He had grandchildren. He had a faith he practiced quietly, without performance. He had, in the way of men who have seen real things and survived them, a quality that is increasingly rare and increasingly mocked in the country he spent his life serving.
    He had integrity.
And tonight the President of the United States said good!
I have been sitting with that word for hours now. Good. One syllable. The thing you say when the coffee is hot or the traffic is moving. The thing a man who has never had to bury anyone, never had to sit in the specific silence of a room where someone is newly absent, reaches for when he wants the world to know he is satisfied. Good. The daughters are crying and the wife is alone in the house and good.
I want to speak directly to the Americans reading this. Not the political Americans. Just the human ones. The ones who have lost a father. The ones who know what it is to be in that first hour, when you keep forgetting and then remembering again, when ordinary objects become unbearable, when the world outside the window seems obscene in its indifference. I want to ask you, simply, to hold that feeling for a moment, and then to understand that the man you elected looked at it and typed a single word.
    Good.
This is not a country having a bad day. I need you to understand that. Countries have bad days. Elections go wrong. Leaders disappoint. Institutions bend. But there is a different thing, a rarer and more terrible thing, that happens when the moral center of a place simply gives way. Not dramatically. Not with a single catastrophic event. But quietly, in increments, until one evening a president celebrates the death of an old man whose family is still warm with grief, and enough people find it acceptable that it becomes the weather. Just the weather.
That is what is happening. That is what has happened.
The world knows. From Tokyo to Oslo, from London to Buenos Aires, people are not angry at America tonight. Anger would mean there was still something to fight for, some remaining faith to be betrayed. What I see, in the reactions from everywhere that is not here, is something older and sadder than anger. It is the look people get when they have waited a long time for someone they love to find their way back, and have finally understood that they are not coming.
America is being grieved. Past tense, almost. The idea of it. The thing it represented to people who had nothing else to believe in, who came here with everything they owned in a single bag because they had heard, somehow, across an ocean, that this was the place where decency was written into the walls. That idea is not resting. It is not suspended. It is being buried, in real time, with 7,450 likes before dinner.
    And the church said nothing.
Seventy million people have decided that this man, this specific man who has cheated everyone he has ever made a promise to, who has mocked the disabled and the dead and the grieving, who celebrated tonight while a family wept, is an instrument of God. The pastors who made that bargain did not just trade away their credibility. They traded away the thing that made them worth listening to in the first place. The cross they carry now is a costume. The faith they preach is a loyalty oath with scripture attached. When the history of American Christianity is written, this will be the chapter they skip at seminary.
Now I want to talk about the men who stand next to him.
Because this is the part that actually breaks my heart.
JD Vance is not a bad man. I have to say that, because it is true, and because the truth matters even now, especially now. Marco Rubio is not a bad man. Lindsey Graham is not a bad man. They are idiots, but not bad, as in BAD! These are men with mothers who raised them and children who love them and friends who remember who they were before all of this. They are not monsters. Monsters are simple. Monsters do not cost you anything emotionally because there is nothing in them to mourn.
These men are something more painful than monsters.
They are men who knew better, and know better still, and will get up tomorrow and do it again.
Every small compromise they made had a reason. Every moment they looked the other way had a justification that sounded, at the time, almost reasonable. And now they have arrived here, at a place where a president celebrates the death of an old man and they will find a way, on television, to say nothing that means anything, and they will go home to houses where children who carry their name are waiting, and they will say goodnight, and they will say nothing.
Their oldest friends are watching. The ones who knew Rubio when he still believed in something. Who knew Graham when he said, out loud, on the record, that this exact man would destroy the Republican Party and deserve it. Who sat next to Vance and thought here is someone worth knowing. Those friends are not angry tonight. They moved through anger a long time ago. What they feel now is the quiet, irrecoverable sadness of watching someone disappear while still being present. Of watching a person they loved choose, again and again, to become less.
That is what cowardice costs. Not the coward. The people who loved him.
And in the comments tonight, the followers celebrate. People who ten years ago brought casseroles to grieving neighbours. Who stood in the rain at gravesides and meant the words they said. Who told their children that we do not speak ill of the dead because the dead were someone’s beloved. Those people are tonight typing gleeful things about a man whose daughters are not yet done crying. And they feel clean doing it. Righteous. Because somewhere along the way the thing they were given in exchange for their decency was the feeling of belonging to something, and that feeling is very hard to give up even when you can no longer remember what you gave for it.
When Trump is gone, they will still be here.
Standing in the silence where the noise used to be. Without the permission the crowd gave them. Without the pastor who told them their cruelty was holy. They will be alone with what they said and what they cheered and what they chose to become, and there will be no one left to tell them it was righteous.
    That morning is coming.
Robert Mueller flew across the Pacific on military leave to hold his newborn daughter for a few hours before returning to the war. He came home. He buried his dead with honour. He served presidents of both parties because he understood that the institution was larger than any one man. He told his grandchildren that a lie is the worst thing a person can do, that a reputation once lost cannot be recovered, and he lived that, every day, in the quiet and unglamorous way of people who actually believe what they say.
He was the kind of American the world used to point to when it needed to believe the story was true.
He died last night. His wife is alone in their house in Georgetown. His daughters are learning what the world is without him in it. And somewhere in the particular hush that falls over a family in the first hours of loss, the most powerful man and the biggest loser on earth sent a message to say he was glad.
The world that loved what America was supposed to be is grieving tonight. Not for Robert Mueller only. For the country that produced him and then became this. For the distance between what was promised and what was delivered. For the suspicion, growing quieter and more certain with each passing month, that the America people believed in was always partly a story, and the story is over now, and there is nothing yet to replace it.
That is all it needed to be.
A man died. His family is broken open with grief.
That is all it needed to be.
    Instead the President said good.
And the country that once stood for something looked away

      1. I am sure you were outraged at the way some people celebrated Kirk’s death and rightly so. But now, you are okay with your cult leader celebrating someone else’s death. How does that work?

  9. Valerie Jarrett just asked ordinary Americans to donate their time to the $850 million Obama Presidential Center.

The same Valerie Jarrett who collected $740,000 last year to run it.

She wants 75 to 100 unpaid “ambassadors” to greet visitors and guide tours when the center opens this June – and she put out a formal volunteer application to make it official.

  10. The two men who put Barack Obama in the White House just said their own party has no idea what it stands for.

Voters already agree – they like ICE more than they like the Democrat Party.

Now the architects of the last two Democratic presidential wins are warning that “not Trump” is not a plan.

    1. “Not trump” or anyone associated with him seems to be working in a lot of places throughout the US. Seats are being flipped from Red to Blue all over. It will continue through the 2026 elections and that is why the Republicans are panicking.

        1. The present administration just cracked the $39 trillion mark in our national debt and he is asking for more money to fund his illegal war on Iran so he and Bebe can continue killing school children.

            1. You need to read something other than Truth Social. According to the draft dodger, we obliterated Iran’s nuclear capabilities a few months ago in “Operation Midnight Hammer”. You bought that lie then, now he says they are an imminent threat and you bought that lie too. His military advisors say Iran wasn’t a threat but they might be. All he is doing is creating more hatred for the US in Iran. He says he won’t put boots on the ground, but he sends our troops over there just in case. Just in case of what, you ask? He isn’t sure but they might not be totally defeated as he has been saying. How can you believe anything he says? He changes his story more than your mother has to change your diaper.

              1. Maybe you should listen to something other than CNN.MSNOW ans all the other fake news networks. Iran said they have 2200lbs of material to make nuclear bombs. Yes they could be lying, but are they democrats?

                1. Here is your dealmaker giving $14 billion to the country we are supposedly at war with. The Art of the Deal.
In order to get more oil flowing and try to slow down the skyrocketing price of crude, the Trump administration has announced it will be granting sanctions relief to Iranian oil already pumped and being transported at sea – relief that is projected to be worth a stunning $14 billion.

                  1. We will get some return on that. Did Barack and Joe get any return for the billions of cash they gave them?

                    1. Being you are a low information voter, you probably didn’t know that the money President Obama gave Iran was their money. Their accounts had been frozen and courts were ruling it had to be returned as they had met the requirements to have it returned. But, it is okay buddy, your lack of knowledge is shared by many other MAGAs.

                    2. How can it be “their money” if USA has it? If your neighbor routinely harassed you, beat you up, murdered your friends, mocked you, promised to kill you, would you give him back the 20 bucks you borrowed earlier? Yes? Then you are a retard and your pink panties are way, way too tight.

                  2. I didn’t realize cadavers could spend $ … their entire leadership is worm food. They can sell the oil and then USA can seize the funds as the oil hits the markets and eases prices at the pump. I guess you would bitch about that too lol.

                    1. It was their money because it was in US banks and their accounts were frozen in retaliation for misdeeds. The courts decided the Iranians had satisfied their part of the judgement and shouldl have their money returned and it was. Of course, you should know that, oh intrepid reporter, but stealing people’s money is something trump supporters believe is okay if it benefits him.

                    2. Would that be because your exalted cult leader would probably turn it into a middle eastern resort area? You would probably one of his first guests and would love to know you are walking on ground where thousands of innocent children were killed to satisfy one man’s disturbed mind.

                    3. You betcha. The problem being that our grifter in chief would make sure that he was the only one profiting on it. And you would be fine with it. You are in a cult.

                    4. Seems like you live in TDS fairy tale land. What President did not profit from the office. Every time a new guy gets in office, everyone complains they profit. Well, it’s America. Been this way for centuries.

                    5. you are a foolish little man. No President has profited like trump has. And none have used the office while in it to make money. A lot of them made money after their terms because of book deals and speaking fees, and I am sure trump will too. But he makes his money by using his office to manipulate the stock market, to blackmail companies and to receive fees for pardoning criminals among other things (most people call those fees bribes but I am sure you don’t).

                    6. Your comprehension skills are really poor. Where did I say Biden didn’t make money from his presidency? I am sure he did but trump is the biggest con man ever to sit in the White House. He has made billions for himself and his billionaire buddies while in the White House. I bet, however, that you haven’t made squat.

                    7. I do quite well, thanks. No complaints. I understand the system, this is where the goofies on the left are confused. They will always be losers until they understand America is a Capitalist country, you must go out and work hard to make it, not cheat and be lazy and drown in fatal empathy for straight up turds that do not deserve anything but a hard kick in the ass.

  11. Ron DeSantis Just Hit 10,000 Officers With This One Move That Has Blue State Governors Panicking

    Mar 16, 2026

    e-crow via shutterstock

New York City lost 15,000 police officers in four and a half years.

Now Ron DeSantis just proved exactly what happens when a governor treats cops like heroes instead of criminals.

And the number he announced in Naples this week should have every Democrat in America breaking out in a cold sweat.
Florida Becomes the Nation’s Law Enforcement Magnet

DeSantis stood at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Hangar on Thursday and announced a milestone that blue state governors couldn’t replicate if they tried.

More than 10,000 Florida law enforcement officers have now received $5,000 recruitment bonuses through the Florida Law Enforcement Recruitment Bonus Program – totaling $67.9 million in after-tax payments since the program launched in 2022.

The latest round alone – $5 million to 744 officers across the state – signals that the pipeline isn’t slowing down.

“Many of these new recruits have relocated to Florida from states where law enforcement has been defunded or demoralized by radical political agendas,” DeSantis said. “We’re fortunate to have them here, and Floridians are grateful for their service every day.”

    That’s not political spin.

While Democrats spent 2020 screaming “defund the police” from every megaphone they could find, officers in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles were handing in their badges.

New Orleans and Minneapolis each shed 40 percent of their departments over the last decade.

Chicago is short over 1,300 officers, Philadelphia is missing 1,200, and Los Angeles has bled more than 1,000 of its own.

New York City’s police union president Patrick Hendry put it plainly: the NYPD has lost over 15,000 officers in four and a half years and is still losing 300 every single month.

The New York Police Department – the largest in the country – is now so desperate to fill vacancies it slashed its college credit requirement from 60 credits down to 24.

    That’s what panic looks like.

    1. DeSantis is just like the President. Pay off the voters to keep your base. trump pays the farmers and DeSantis pays the cops.

  12. Trump has a lot of syncophants in his circle.
BREAKING: White House MELTS DOWN after Jimmy Kimmel’s brutal Oscars roast of Melania.
As far as Oscar ceremonies go, last night’s edition of the Academy Awards was relatively apolitical compared to past broadcasts.
There was nothing on the order of Michael Moore denouncing the Iraq war at the 2003 ceremony while accepting his award for Bowling for Columbine, or Vanessa Redgrave attacking “Zionist hoodlums” in her 1978 Best Supporting Actress acceptance speech, or even Marlon Brando’s declining his Best Actor Award for the Godfather to protest Hollywood’s treatment of native Americans — sending Sacheen Littlefeather to deliver his message to the audience.
This year, political commentary at the Oscars, while not as prevalent as in years past, was still as sharp as ever.
Oddly, the sharpest political jabs came more from the Awards’ presenters rather than the winners. Javier Bardem, a four-time Oscar winner, was short and sweet in his remarks while presenting the Best International Feature award. “No to war, and free Palestine,” while wearing a prominent placard reading “No a la Guerra” on his lapel.
But it was the former Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel — presenting the Best Documentary Feature and Short awards — who got in the best political zingers of the ceremony. Commenting on the Best Documentary Feature nominees, the late-night host took aim at the widely mocked documentary about First Lady Melania Trump, which critics panned and audiences mostly ignored.
“Oh man, is he going to be mad his wife wasn’t nominated for this,” Kimmel joked while introducing the Best Documentary Feature category.
But he didn’t stop there. Kimmel also delivered a sharp jab about freedom of speech while discussing the risks some filmmakers take to tell important stories.
“We hear a lot about courage at shows like this,” he said. “But telling a story that could get you killed for telling it is real courage.”
    Then came the punchline.
“As you know, there are some countries whose leaders don’t support free speech. I’m not at liberty to say which. Let’s just leave it at North Korea and CBS.”
And finally, he twisted the knife with another not-so-subtle reference to Melania’s much-maligned documentary.
“Fortunately for all of us there’s an international community of filmmakers dedicated to telling the truth… and there are also documentaries where you walk around the White House trying on shoes.”
The crowd laughed. The internet exploded. The White House? Not amused.
Within hours, Trump communications director Steven Cheung unleashed a furious rant on social media, calling Kimmel a “classless hack who is self-projecting his depression and sadness onto others.”
    Cheung didn’t stop there.
“He lives a pathetic existence where nobody—not even his family—enjoys his miserable company,” Cheung wrote. “The only people giving him any attention are Hollywood elites. BUH-BYE!”
In other words, a few jokes at the Oscars were apparently enough to trigger a full-blown meltdown from the president’s communications team.
Which only proves Kimmel may have hit exactly where it hurts.

      1. Why should they have addressed it to Iran? Poor little donny gets his feelings hurt and his supporters have to come to his defense again. He might be the biggest snowflake in the world. As he would say, he is the best snowflake in the world. As are his followers.

  13. Here’s what the Democrats screaming about Trump don’t want to discuss.

Epstein’s lawyer, Darren Indyke – the other co-executor of the estate – testifies next week on March 19.

Leon Black, identified Wednesday as one of Epstein’s five major financial patrons, has been asked to appear voluntarily on May 13.

These are the leads worth following.

These are the threads that could actually produce accountability for the women Epstein trafficked and the powerful men who enabled him.

Instead, Democrats spent their deposition time asking about Trump – a man five sworn witnesses have now cleared – while the real financial architecture of Epstein’s criminal enterprise sits waiting to be examined.

The victims of Jeffrey Epstein deserve a real investigation.

What they got from Democrats was a political operation.

And today, the man who watched every dollar flow through Eptein’s empire for fifteen years just told them so.

    1. Despite some people saying trump had no financial dealings with Epstein, most of those comments came from Comer who has refused to allow testimony to be made public. But what he doesn’t address are the accusations against trump that were not released earlier due to an “oversight”. If you believe that, I have. a bridge to sell you.

        1. None of iowa’s reps want all the files released. They are all trump cult members or they are afraid that alienating trump may cost them their seat in Congress and all the perks that go with it. Did you know that Ashley HInson’s net worth is now over $5 million. It was around $1 million when she joined congress in 2021. So she has made about $1 million a year as a congressperson. Not bad. She is also one of the most actuve stock traders in Congress.

  14. Trump has won a presidential election twice and dominated American politics for a decade.

James Carville recently went on a podcast and announced he has Trump Derangement Syndrome, does not want to get rid of it, and wants to “get worse.”

That is not a political strategy heading into the 2026 midterms.

That is a party describing its own irrelevance out loud.

Democrats are running into November with no economic message, no foreign policy consistency, and no answer for why the rules changed the moment a Republican moved into the White House.

Bill Maher — a committed liberal who told his audience he does not hate the Iran operation — can see it clearly.

        1. I think you meant FoxNews (for entertainment purposes only) especially if it makes the President look bad and almost everything does make him look bad because he is a terrible person.

            1. They make up 90% of their ‘news’. Remember these are the guys who paid $787 million for lying to its viewers. They even admit the evening portion of their ‘news’ shows is not always factual. Tucker Carlson’s show was sued and Fox’s lawyers said “no reasonable person” should believe his reporting as truth.

  15. How Biden Lost 320000 Children and Democrats Blocked Every Fix

Here’s what Tim Tebow didn’t need to say – because the record already says it.

While the Cyber Crimes Center was being starved of resources, the Biden administration was running the most reckless child placement operation in American history.

More than 500,000 unaccompanied children crossed the southern border and entered HHS custody between 2021 and 2025.

Biden’s HHS – run by Xavier Becerra – failed to conduct background checks on over 11,000 sponsors who were not parents or legal guardians of the children placed with them.

The Biden administration ignored or dismissed over 65,000 reports regarding migrant children – including over 7,300 reports of human trafficking.

A DHS Inspector General report confirmed that as of 2024, the Biden administration had lost track of over 320,000 of those children.

HHS employees were barred from communicating with law enforcement.

Senator Chuck Grassley spent years raising alarms about every one of these failures in committee hearings.

Democrats blocked his efforts to fix it.

When Senate Republicans tried to pass child protection reforms in September 2024, Democrats voted no.

    1. Did a little research on your claim about Senate Republicans’ child protection attempts in 2024 and could come up with little except that a bi-partisan bill in the Senate was passed 91-3 to protect children online. Nothing else. Is that what you are lying about?

                  1. DHS Leads Efforts to Rescue Child Victims of Sex and Labor Trafficking
                    Release Date: July 25, 2025

The Trump Administration has located 13,000 children who came across the border unaccompanied

WASHINGTON –Secretary Noem is leading efforts to rescue and stop the exploitation of the 300,000 unaccompanied children the Biden Administration lost or placed with unvetted sponsors. Many of the children who came across the border unaccompanied were allowed to be placed with sponsors who were actually smugglers and sex traffickers. The Trump Administration has located 13,000 of these children.

In March 2025, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) identified a backlog of more than 65,000 reports regarding children who came across the border unaccompanied that were ignored during the Biden administration.

Since discovering this, HHS stood up a triage center and modernized outdated software systems to triage and action all reports. As of July 24, 2025, more than 59,000 of the backlogged reports have been analyzed and processed, resulting in more than 4,000 investigative leads, including fraud, human trafficking, and other criminal activity.

“The evil of human trafficking cannot be overstated. It’s modern-day slavery. By leaving our borders open and even encouraging people to come here illegally, Biden enabled the largest human-trafficking operation in modern history,” said Secretary Kristi Noem. “We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to eradicate human trafficking operations targeting the United States. Under the leadership of President Donald Trump, and working together at every level of government, we can win this fight. And we will.”

Below are examples of DHS law enforcement’s heroic actions rescuing children:

On June 16, 2025, during a HSI worksite enforcement operation targeting employers and subcontractors who knowingly hire illegal aliens, HSI Mobile identified and rescued a child and arrested eight foreign nationals for violations of immigration law. The child was found to be working among adults and was believed to have never attended school since entering the United States two years ago.
On May 28, 2025, HSI New York special agents arrested an adult male subject from Ecuador at his residence for violations relating to the sexual exploitation of a child. New York received information related to a 15-year-old female who was apprehended near El Paso, Texas, after illegally entering the United States. At that time, she was pregnant with the adult male’s child and had been in a relationship with him in Ecuador since the age of thirteen. The subject organized the smuggling of the young teenager across the U.S. border to engage in sexual acts. The subject’s mother sponsored her after her illegal entry, and the subject continued his relationship with the children, living together with his mother in Harlem.
On May 12, 2025, HSI Austin reported the identification and rescue of a child, the arrest of two Guatemalan nationals for violation of immigration law, and the initiation of an HSI-led investigation of state and federal charges of human trafficking and statutory rape. During a welfare check, HSI Agents, with the assistance of the FBI, identified a pregnant 14-year-old female residing with an unrelated adult male sponsor, later determined to be the biological father of the unborn child.
On May 1, 2025, HSI Newark conducted a welfare check in East Orange, NJ. Three minors, ages 17, 16, and 15, were encountered at the residence and were observed to not be attending school. During the check, it was determined the sponsor was not living with the minors. They were living in filthy conditions with active mouse infestations. The residence was void of food. An HSI forensic interview of the minors revealed alleged verbal, physical, and sexual abuse of the three minors, along with potential labor exploitation.
On June 24, 2025, HSI Nashville reported the identification of one child victim and one adult victim of labor trafficking. During an immigration court proceeding, the child victim disclosed that she and her 18-year-old brother had been forced by their sponsor to work to pay off their smuggling fees and to pay the sponsor's household expenses.

BOTTOM LINE: President Trump and Secretary Noem take the responsibility to protect children seriously and will continue to work with federal law enforcement to reunite children with their families.

                    1. It came from Krusty Noem’s DHS? The woman who trump fired a couple days ago because he decided she was not a good enough liar for him?

                    2. You always have an excuse for his screwups. Do you think he ever does something wrong? Or if he does, is it Biden’s fault or Obama’s?

  16. Gotta love it
LUCAS is a low-cost drone — $35,000 a pop — that’s based on Iran’s own Shahed drone. Central Command chief Adm. Brad Cooper said in a video: “We took [Shahed drones] back to America, made them better, and fired them right back at Iran.”

    1. Donald Trump, the man who bankrupted casinos, a business where people literally walk in and hand you money, has just pulled off the most spectacular act of economic self harm in American history. He started a war so catastrophically stupid that the countries writing the biggest cheques into the American economy are pulling their money out and running for the fucking hills.
Not enemies. His mates. His sword dance partners. The guys who let Jared’s investment firm wet its beak. They’re leaving. Taking trillions with them.
Here’s what this bloated, fake tanned, hamberder inhaling, convicted felon did.
The Gulf states, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, sit on five trillion dollars in sovereign wealth. In 2025 they pumped a hundred and thirty two billion into America. They bought Apple. They bought Electronic Arts for 55 billion. They shovelled money into AI, data centres, Treasury bonds, real estate, tech startups, everything. Abu Dhabi put 57 percent of its entire investment fund into the United States. These are America’s sugar daddies. The whales keeping Silicon Valley and Wall Street alive.
And this dribbling, semi-literate fuckwit set their houses on fire.
February 28. Operation Epic Fury. Sounds like a Monster Energy drink for school shooters. Captain Bonespurs watched the bombs drop at Mar-a-Lago like it was the Super Bowl, probably clapping with ketchup on his fingers. Every Gulf state had begged him not to do it. Publicly. On the record. Qatar was literally mediating peace talks when the missiles launched.
Iran hit back. Obviously. To everyone except the man who thinks windmills cause cancer.
Drones smashed Dubai. Missiles hit Bahrain hotels. Saudi Arabia’s biggest refinery went offline. Qatar’s LNG facility, twenty percent of the world’s gas supply, shut down. An Amazon data centre in Dubai caught fire. First time in human history. Two thousand years of warfare and it took Donald Trump to pioneer wartime cloud computing disruption. Put it on the CV next to the bankruptcies and the porn star payoffs.
The Strait of Hormuz went from fifty ships a day to zero. Twenty percent of the world’s oil, gone.
And here’s where it gets properly fucking beautiful.
Saudi Arabia has spent a decade trying to stop being a petrol ⛽ station with a flag. Vision 2030. NEOM. AI hubs. They bought a football club, a golf league, and a video game company. They’re spending money like a freshly divorced hedge fund manager at a strip club.
Problem. They need oil at 96 dollars a barrel just to cover what they’re spending. Over 110 if you include the mega projects. Oil’s at 83. They were already losing money every single day before a single bomb fell. And now they can’t even sell the fucking oil they have because the strait is shut and their biggest refinery is on fire.
They need more than they’re earning. They can’t sell what they’ve got. And their entire pitch to the world, safe, stable, open for business, is destroyed. Not by their own actions. By the President of the United States. Who they begged not to do this.
So yesterday the Financial Times dropped the bomb. Gulf states are reviewing their overseas investments. That’s polite financial journalism for they’re pulling the money out. Selling US stocks. Dumping Treasury bonds. Liquidating American assets. Ripping the IV drip out of America’s arm to keep their own countries alive while Trump’s vanity war bleeds them dry.
And they’re not alone. China’s dumping Treasuries. Europe’s diversifying. Canada’s pulling back. Country after country looking at America and making the same calculation. This place is run by a fucking maniac. Get our money out.
Four to five weeks he said this war would take. Six days in. Strait closed. Five trillion heading for the door. Data centres burning. Airlines grounded. And this stupid, rambling, twice impeached, quadruple indicted, casino bankrupting, steak ruining, eclipse staring, porn star bribing, draft dodging sack of spray tan told reporters the Iranian retaliation was “probably the biggest surprise” of the war.
He started a war with a country that spent forty years preparing for exactly this. Next to his richest allies. Beside the most important shipping lane on earth. And he was surprised.
Art of the deal. Art of the fucking apocalypse.

  17. “A day in the Life of Sue Republican.
Sue gets up at 6 a.m. and fills her coffeepot with water to prepare her morning coffee. The water is clean and good because some tree-hugging liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards.
With her first swallow of coffee, she takes her daily medication. Her medications are safe to take because some stupid commie liberal fought to insure their safety and that they work as advertised.
All but $10 of her medications are paid for by her employer’s medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance – now Sue gets it too.
She prepares her morning breakfast, bacon and eggs. Sue’s bacon is safe to eat because some girly-man liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.
In the shower, Sue reaches for her shampoo. Her bottle is properly labeled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some crybaby liberal fought for her right to know what she was putting on her body and how much it contained.
Sue dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air she breathes is clean because some environmentalist wacko liberal fought for laws to stop industries from polluting our air.
She walks to the subway station for her government-subsidized ride to work. It saves her considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some fancy-pants liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor.
Sue begins her work day. She has a good job with excellent pay, medical benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some lazy liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. Sue’s employer pays these standards because Sue’s employer doesn’t want his employees to call the union.
If Sue is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed, she’ll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some stupid liberal didn’t think she should lose her home because of her temporary misfortune.
It’s noon and Sue needs to make a bank deposit so she can pay some bills. Sue’s deposit is federally insured by the FDIC because some godless liberal wanted to protect Sue’s money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the Great Depression.
Sue has to pay her Fannie Mae-underwritten mortgage and her below-market federal student loan because some elitist liberal decided that Sue and the government would be better off if she was educated and earned more money over her lifetime.
Sue is home from work. She plans to visit her father this evening at his farm home in the country. She gets in her car for the drive. Her car is among the safest in the world because some America-hating liberal fought for car safety standards.
She arrives at her childhood home. Her generation was the third to live in the house financed by Farmers’ Home Administration because bankers didn’t want to make rural loans. The house didn’t have electricity until some big-government liberal stuck his nose where it didn’t belong and demanded rural electrification.
She is happy to see her father, who is now retired. Her father lives on Social Security and a union pension because some wine-drinking, cheese-eating liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Sue wouldn’t have to.
Sue gets back in her car for the ride home, and turns on a radio talk show. The radio host keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good. He doesn’t mention that Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit Sue enjoys throughout her day. Sue agrees: “We don’t need those big-government liberals ruining our lives! After all, I’m self-made and believe everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have.”

      1. You are complaining about copy and paste? That is rich coming from NIT. Besides, what part of it do you think is false?

  18. Biden’s FBI built something that wasn’t a criminal investigation.

It was a political targeting operation code-named Arctic Frost – and it ran from 2022 straight through Trump’s re-election.

They went after his campaign manager. They went after his top adviser. They subpoenaed senators and seized the phones of a former president and vice president.

Then they buried the evidence in files designed to disappear.

How many more times has this happened?

    1. I am sure if you asked trump he could tell you. And if he didn’t know (which he wouldn’t) he would make something up that you and the rest of the cult would believe.

      1. Horrifying new footage proves Trump is LYING and it was the United States that fired the Tomahawk missiles that hit a girl’s elementary school in Iran, killing 160 kids and all of the teachers!
Last night, Donald Trump spoke to the media and blamed Iran for the gruesome massacre of Iranian schoolchildren, claiming that one of their own munitions had fallen on the school.
Now, new video footage reviewed by the Bellingcat war monitoring organization definitely proves that it was American Tomahawk missiles that hit the school – which Israel does not have.
This means that Trump and Pete Hegseth are responsible for one of the worst war crimes in America’s long, brutal military history.
“By the time we arrived, the entire school had collapsed on top of the children,” said one grieving mother to NBC News. “People were pulling out children’s arms and legs. People were pulling out severed heads.”
Not only did we bomb the school, we did it TWICE – 40 minutes later. You don’t bomb something twice by accident. The second strike was clearly intended to kill the rescuers.

          1. Bad intel? Like “weapons of mass destruction” during the first gulf war? According to trump and kegsbreath, the US had everything in place when they attacked Iran. Great intel, great execution, great destruction.

“As U.S. Secretary of War in 2026, Pete Hegseth has aggressively criticized traditional rules of engagement (ROE) as “stupid,” “politically correct,” and “restrictive”. He advocates for maximum, un-shackled authority for warfighters, aiming to “unleash” American military power to “hunt and kill” enemies.
Key details regarding Hegseth’s approach to rules of engagement include:
Maximum Lethality: Hegseth advocates for removing “overbearing” restrictions to increase battlefield efficiency and “maximum authority”.
“No Quarter” Policy: Following attacks on Iran, he stated that the U.S. would show “no quarter, no mercy” to enemies, a stance criticized for potentially violating international humanitarian law.
Contempt for Legal Guidance: Hegseth has historically expressed disdain for military lawyers (JAGs) who advise on ROE, advising troops in the past to ignore them.
Reduced Oversight: He has been criticized for gutting Pentagon offices responsible for investigating civilian casualties, framing, in the view of some critics, civilian protection as “woke”.
Focus on Winning: Hegseth emphasizes “winning” and “fighting on our terms” over adhering to strict, in his view, restrictive international standards.

That was his response to questions about bombing the school. In other words, he doesn’t give a crap about the dead children.

        1. THe United States and Israel bombed another elementary school the morning of March 16 in Iran. You would think after the first time they would be very cautious and make sure it didn’t happen again but, this is the Trump administration and anything goes.

  19. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem visited Eagle Pass earlier this month and said what Americans already knew: “Thousands of people died because Joe Biden and the Democrats decided to cut the fence and allow an invasion to happen that partnered with the cartels to bring in unprecedented drugs and trafficking and sex trafficking, children being abused.”

Biden’s people told you they were managing a crisis. DHS just showed you they were running a program.

        1. Math is too difficult for her. Just like her boss. You remember him, the guy who was going to reduce prescription prices by 1500%?

            1. Do you know that most states in the United States allow recreational use of drugs? I should have said most of the states who have moved on from the 1950s allow them.

                1. More assumptions from you. I do believe there is a purpose for recreational marijuana just as there is a purpose for medical marijuana. So does most of America.

                    1. Not an assumption at all. I think you probably don’t know what an assumption is because: “An overwhelming share of U.S. adults (88%) say either that marijuana should be legal for medical and recreational use by adults (59%) or that it should be legal for medical use only (30%). Just one-in-ten (10%) say marijuana use should not be legal, according to a Pew Research Center survey conducted Oct. 10-16, 2022. These views are virtually unchanged since April 2021.”
                      https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2022/11/22/americans-overwhelmingly-say-marijuana-should-be-legal-for-medical-or-recreational-use/

                    2. Don’t you love the way the MAGAs disappear when they are proven wrong? Just like trump never apologizes.

          1. Watching the SOTU campaign speech last night, I see trump repeated that lie “We’re going to get the drug prices down not 30 or 40% which would be great Not 50 or 60 No we’re going to get them down 1,000% 600% 500% 1,500%.”

Of course, those of us who know math know that if it happens (it won’t), the drug companies will be paying us to buy their drugs. But, it didn’t matter to the math-less republicans because they gave that statement a standing ovation.

              1. Trump knew and so did you that the Dems wouldn’t get up and that is why he asked it. It isn’t that we don’t love America, we don’t love trump’s vision for America. He is a moron.

                    1. I think you are wrong. I didn’t vote a pedophile into the presidency and I don’t support his administration covering up for all the members of the administration who were named in the files (so far).

              2. “The duty of the American government is to respect and honor the Constitution and the laws under which it is framed. The Constitution grants citizens certain rights that it does not grant to non-citizens, but nowhere does it suggest that there is a “first duty to protect citizens.”
It also does not define “illegal aliens.” That term does not appear anywhere in current U.S. law. It is a slur, a term of hate, designed to brand a certain group of people as a lower caste. That is not how the United States government is supposed to work.
The notion that the government has a duty to protect some people over others is not just wrong, it’s discriminatory. It’s racist. It’s supremacist.”

      1. Krusty is just another MAGA moron who professes to be a Christian while she flies around in her $70 million airplane decked out with a fancy bedroom for her and her lover while her husband and kids sit home reading stories about her infidelity and wondering if mommie dearest is ever coming home.

        1. Wow.. Donny fires someone who should have never been appointed to the position he gave her and turns around, makes up another position for her, and moves on as if he didn’t screw up again.

          1. I’m not a member of the pedophile protecting cult so, no, I don’t hate women. Did you read that the chief pedophile pardoned a person in Florida today who was guilty of sexually abusing two girls? And you still believe he’s not complicit of conspiring with Epstein? SMH.

  20. Democrats spent years demanding accountability when Richard Blumenthal misrepresented his Vietnam service, and drove George Santos from Congress inside of two months when his fabrications became public. Wes Moore has now been caught misrepresenting his birthplace, his military honors, his academic credentials, and his family biography – and the party is already clearing the runway for his 2028 presidential campaign.

    1. Drove George Santos from Congress? He was expelled by a bi-partisan vote because of his illegalities. He was a criminal. Just because he was a trump supporter doesn’t mean he was innocent.

  22. Interesting rankings but the #43 ranked President is no surprise.

Periodically historians and scholars assess and rank the performance of U.S. presidents. It’s an exercise with no sure answer – a matter of opinion informed by study, observation and perspective, also influenced by a measure of one’s political worldview.

While interesting on their face, presidential greatness studies can also serve to remind us of the leadership values that brought out the best in America – and warn us that presidential judgement can be terribly misguided, even corrupt.

Projects evaluating presidential achievement have occurred for decades. The Schlesinger surveys are well known to presidential historians. The first was conducted in 1948 by Arthur Schlesinger Sr., a Harvard University historian, with a follow-up project in 1962. Others came after, to include a survey by his son in 1996. Like his father, Arthur Schlesinger Jr. was a historian at Harvard.

In his 1996 survey analysis, Schlesinger Jr. cited former President Calvin Coolidge’s thoughts about the complexity of evaluating chief executives. “Trials and encouragement come to each president,” wrote Coolidge. “It is impossible to explain them. Even after passing through the presidential office, it still remains a great mystery . . . Like the glory of a morning sunrise, it can only be experienced – it cannot be told.”

Schlesinger, Jr. also shared an anecdote about John F. Kennedy, who was a recipient of his father’s 1962 survey. He started to fill out the survey before pushing it aside. JFK proceeded to write in a letter to Schlesinger Sr:

“A year ago I would have responded with confidence . . . but now I am not so sure. After being in the office for a year, I feel that a good deal more study is required to make my judgment sufficiently informed. There is a tendency to mark the obvious names. I would like to subject those not so well known to a long scrutiny after I have left this office.”

In recognition of President’s Day – with a nod to the cautionary words of Coolidge and Kennedy – I took a shot at configuring a presidential performance ranking consensus. This entailed conducting a compilation of survey results from three extensive presidential ranking projects undertaken over the past five years. The three contemporary surveys I utilized were:

The CSPAN Presidential Historians Survey, released in 2021. CSPAN has been conducting surveys since 2000. Participants in the 2021 project were 142 historians, professors, and other professional observers of the presidency.
The Sienna College Research Institute U.S. Presidents Study that was published in 2022. SCRI has been conducting similar surveys since 1982. The 2022 study included the insights of 141 presidential scholars, historians and political scientists.
The Presidential Greatness Project, published in 2024. It was the third joint presidential ranking project conducted since 2015 by professors from the University of Houston and Coastal Carolina University. There were 154 participants in the 2024 survey, including current and recent members of the American Political Science Association as well as scholars who had published topic-related peer-reviewed academic research.
    A consensus ranking
To attain a consensus ranking, I calculated the average rank of each president over the three surveys. For context, I grouped the presidents into the six performance categories used by Schlesinger, Jr. in his 1996 survey – great, near great, high average, average, below average and failure. It was my intent to allow the ranking averages to inform assignment of presidents to the specific categories, but some personal judgement was required to determine category breakpoints.

Following is the consensus ranking of the 45 men who have served as President of the United States. The ranking is inclusive of Donald Trump’s first term and a portion of Joe Biden’s term. The number in parentheses is the average ranking of that president across the three surveys.
Great: Abraham Lincoln (1.3), Franklin Roosevelt (2.0), George Washington (2.7), Theodore Roosevelt (4.0).

Near Great: Thomas Jefferson (5.7), Harry Truman(6.3), Dwight Eisenhower (6.3).

High Average: John Kennedy (9.0), Lyndon Johnson (9.3), Barack Obama (9.3), James Madison (12.3), Woodrow Wilson (13.7), James Monroe (14.0), Ronald Reagan (14.3), John Adams (14.7), Bill Clinton (15.0).

Average: Joe Biden (16.5), John Quincy Adams (18.0), James Polk (19.3), Ulysses Grant (19.3), William McKinley (20.0), George H.W. Bush (20.0), Andrew Jackson (22.0), William Howard Taft (23.7), Jimmy Carter (24.0), Grover Cleveland (25.7), James Garfield (28.0), Gerald Ford (28.3).

Below Average: Calvin Coolidge (30.0), Martin Van Buren (30.3), Rutherford Hayes (31.0), Richard Nixon (31.3), Chester Arthur (32.0), George W. Bush (32.0), Benjamin Harrison (32.3), Zachary Taylor (36.3), Herbert Hoover (36.3), John Tyler (38.3), Millard Fillmore (38.3).

Failure: Warren Harding (39.7), William Henry Harrison (40.3), Franklin Pierce (41.7), Donald Trump (43.0), Andrew Johnson (43.7), James Buchanan (44.0).

      1. It means a lot. Just another example of what his delusional supporters believe and what the thinking two-thirds of this nation think.

              1. Most people and that includes most liberals know that the MAGAs who are still backing trumpie are nuts, so thanks.

                1. Hundreds of Christian leaders came together on Ash Wednesday to CONDEMN Trump, warning that their faith was hijacked by his promotion of white Christian nationalism.
Read their powerful statement in full:
There are moments that call for repentance and resistance, courage and conviction, faith and fortitude. THIS is one of those moments.
We are facing a cruel and oppressive government; citizens and immigrants being demonized, disappeared, and even killed; the erosion of hard won rights and freedoms; and a calculated effort to reverse America’s growing racial and ethnic diversity, pushing us toward authoritarian and imperial rule.
What confronts us is not only an endangered democracy and the rise of tyranny. It is a Christian faith corrupted by the heretical ideology of white Christian nationalism.
We call on all Christians to resist the injustices and anti democratic danger sweeping across the nation. Silence is not neutrality. It is an active choice to permit harm. This is not a distant danger or a future possibility. It is a present and urgent reality.
The government sponsored cruelty and violence we are witnessing stands in total opposition to the teachings of Jesus. We refuse to be silent while atrocities unfold.
Freedoms and rights once assumed secure are being stripped away. Civil rights protections are being dismantled. Truth is replaced by lies and propaganda. Governance is hollowed out and replaced with corruption, intimidation, and lawlessness, while we are told to accept it as law, order, or God’s will.
We refuse to baptize domination. We refuse to sanctify cruelty. We refuse to confuse authoritarian power with divine authority. Religion must not be used to deify politicians or justify abuses. When it is, faith becomes a weapon of heresy and hypocrisy.
Any political leader who demands absolute power places themselves in opposition to God’s sovereignty. Allegiance to such leaders is idolatry. A faithful Christian witness is incompatible with nationalist power and the suffering it is producing.
To serve and defend the most vulnerable is to serve and defend Christ Himself. These are people being directly and deliberately targeted and harmed by those in political power. Silence in this moment is complicity.
Faith and democracy do not die in a single moment. They erode when we trade courage for conformity and fall silent in the face of wrongdoing.
If we fail to speak and act now, we will be remembered not only for the injustices committed in our time, but for the righteous possibilities we allowed to die in our hands.
Now is the time to speak and act.

  24. How did you feel about trump’s racist post last week depicting the Obamas as apes?
“Several social media sites suspended Trump’s accounts after the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. They’d do Trump a favor to block them again. He lacks the maturity, judgment and decency to be trusted with screens.”
    So true.

      1. Of course there are people who will pick up where he left off. They are already doing it and they are called MAGAs

                1. That’s all the libs do, don’t seem to have any suggestions to improve problems, just cause them. Then sometimes they think they have the answer, but it is still bullshit.

  25. Public meeting to discuss Smith Lake improvement plan

Algona – The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Kossuth County Conservation Board will host a public meeting at 6 p.m., February 26, at the Water’s Edge Nature Center, located in Smith Lake County Park, to discuss plans from improving water quality and recreational opportunities at Smith Lake.

In the event of inclement weather, a backup meeting will be held at the same time and location on March 5.

Findings from the recently completed diagnostic and feasibility study, as well as proposed restoration activities for the park will be presented at the meeting, along with an opportunity for the public to express their comments and ask questions about the long term management and park improvement plan. Proposed restoration activities for the lake include removal of excess sediment to increase lake depth, shoreline stabilization, a fishery renovation, fish habitat installation, dam/outlet improvements, and recreational access improvements. Work is slated to begin in Fall 2027 and be completed in early 2029.

Smith Lake is currently listed on the state’s list of impaired waters due to high levels of algae. The overall goal of this restoration project is to improve water quality and recreational opportunities in the lake and remove the lake from the Impaired Waters List.

  26. Well, we have the Super Bowl tomorrow and it brings with all its hoopla another reason for MAGA to be upset. Bad Bunny will be the halftime show and MAGA is mad because he isn’t an American. Of course, he is an American because he is Puerto Rican but that doesn’t make any difference to MAGA. They are all going to switch channels at halftime to watch Kid Rock perform on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) a network that says it is a Christian network. So who do they have headlining their show? Kid Rock. He is certainly indicative of MAGA and their American model male figure. What a joke.

        1. I am sure there are plenty of Democrats being arrested too. But the Democrats don’t have a pedophile as head of their party.

          1. Melania got into the US claiming to have special talents (we know now what those special talents were). She obtained US citizenship on a visa reserved for immigrants with “extraordinary ability” and “sustained national and international acclaim”, according to a report in the Washington Post.

Nicknamed the “Einstein Visa”, the EB-1 is in theory reserved for people who are highly acclaimed in their field – the government cites Pulitzer, Oscar, and Olympic winners as examples – as well as respected academic researchers and multinational executives.

She must have been an extraordinary nude model.

  28. This is why the Republican party is not going to prosecute pedophiles unless they are Democrats:•Republican anti-abortion activist Howard Scott Heldreth is a convicted child rapist in Florida.
•Republican County Commissioner David Swartz pleaded guilty to molesting two girls under the age of 11 and was sentenced to 8 years in prison.

•Republican Congressman Dan Crane had sex with a female minor working as a congressional page.
•Republican activist and Christian Coalition leader Beverly Russell admitted to an incestuous relationship with his step daughter.

    1. More….
•Republican congressman and anti-gay activist Robert Bauman* was charged with having sex with a 16-year-old boy he picked up at a gay bar.
•Republican Committee Chairman Jeffrey Patti was arrested for distributing a video clip of a 5-year-old girl being raped.

  29. House speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is in on the game. In 2024 he told reporters, “We all know, intuitively, that a lot of illegals are voting in federal elections.” Yesterday, defending Trump’s demand for federal control of elections, he went further: “We had three House Republican candidates who were ahead on Election Day in the last election cycle, and every time a new tranche of ballots came in, they just magically whittled away until their leads were lost…. It looks on its face to be fraudulent.” Then he added the same caveat Republicans have used since 1996: “Can I prove that? No.”

    1. He must have learned the “Can I prove it? No.” from Chuckles Grassley who is an expert at revealing bombastic information that he can’t prove.

  30. I see our gov wants to give more money to private schools. Private schools students make up 7 1/2% of the total school enrollment in Iowa. Most of those who attend were going to their school before kimmee started giving them money to go to a private school. 42 counties in Iowa don’t have a private school and the private school doesn’t have to accept anyone they don’t want to accept. 10 of the top 20 basketball teams in Iowa’s Class A and 1A are private schools. I don’t know but that percentage seems a lot larger than 7 1/2%. The thing that really irks me is that these schools have no accountability. They don’t have to publicly state where their money goes. Why is that?

  31. News story
Multiple segments of border wall construction are being held up by a lack of final sign-off from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem,
    Later in the article.
A senior DHS official confirmed the contracts have yet to be signed, saying they’re going through the review process at headquarters and haven’t reached Noem’s desk.
Both statements true….have to read the whole article to understand, not just lead in.

    1. Now what? Release them all. The survivors are pissed that what they released outed them but protected the perps. But, the newly released ones did implicate a couple of trump cabinet members.

  32. Wonder why Springsteen didn’t write a song about the killing, murders in Minneapolis in the summer of love? Because it was Democrats doing the will of the people. George would of been proud.

    1. Your mind wanders like the president’s does. What does your comment have to do with the topic of the original post?

  33. A lot of Viking fans are going to be angry…….but, you know, the truth is the truth. Deal with it.

    Norsemen Nation

“You don’t see what’s coming, or are you just afraid to say it out loud?” Kevin O’Connell spoke, his voice low, steady, and controlled, carrying evenly across the studio.
The entire room fell silent. The cameras kept rolling as the atmosphere grew heavy. O’Connell leaned forward, his gaze resolute—not an outburst of anger, but the gravity of someone accustomed to bearing responsibility.
“Listen to me carefully,” he continued. “What’s happening right now isn’t accidental. This chaos isn’t an accident. It’s being fed. It’s being engineered.”
    FULL DETAILS https://fynero.biz/…/kevin-oconnells-stark-warning…
Someone on the panel tried to cut in, but O’Connell raised his hand, calm yet firm.
“Hold on. It’s the same in football. When discipline breaks down, when structure collapses, that’s when dangerous people take advantage. T.r.u.m.p doesn’t fear chaos. He needs it.”
He paused, letting the words settle.
“Martial law. Emergency powers. Suspended norms. And then—no midterm elections.”
A quiet voice spoke up: “That sounds extreme.”
    O’Connell slowly shook his head.
“Extreme? Dismantling democracy to keep yourself out of prison—that’s extreme. Do you really think a man staring down impeachment and handcuffs is going to respect the rules of the game?”
The camera moved in closer. O’Connell spoke slowly and deliberately, as if underscoring a principle that could not be compromised.
“Watch him closely. He’s not trying to win an election. He’s trying to erase it. And if people keep reassuring themselves that this is impossible, they’ll wake up one day—with soldiers in the streets and no ballot left to cast.”
The silence that followed was heavy, deeper than any argument.

    1. I will take responsibility for not checking closely on the meme I took this from. Apparently, Coach didn’t say this. But that doesn’t make the content any less true. Or as a MAGA ex-friend said, “I don’t give a f*** if it is true or not” when replying to someone questioning one of his posts.

        1. Have you been watching the news? Did you hear Krusty Noem say “An individual approached U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9-millimeter semi-automatic handgun,” and agents attempted to disarm him. “The officers attempted to disarm this individual, but the armed suspect reacted violently,” Noem said. “Fearing for his life and for the lives of his fellow officers around him, an agent fired defensive shots.” or “The witness testimony directly contradicts claims by senior Trump administration officials, including the president, the homeland security secretary and Greg Bovino, a border patrol commander, who called Pretti a “gunman” who approached federal officers “brandishing” a gun and threatened to “massacre” them.” The videoes, of which there are many, show that none of that is true. I admitted I posted before checking but MAGAs can’t seem to trust what their eyes see.

    2. The Vikings are total ass. Horrible team, like the T-Wolves. Twins right there too. Easy to root against.

  34. Melania Trump’s movie is flopping so badly that Amazon has shifted from hype mode to full-on damage control
The documentary reportedly cost around $75 million—about $40M to acquire it and another $35M to push it into more than 1,400 theaters across 27 countries . Even with that massive spend, it’s tracking at roughly $5 million for opening weekend. That’s a straight-up face-plant ‍♂️
According to reports, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has ordered executives to physically show up at premiere events nationwide to make the film look supported ️. Nearly two dozen premieres are planned the night before release, with corporate brass sent in as morale boosters.
The contrast is brutal. Amazon is spending more on marketing this film than it did on The Eras Tour, which opened to over $120 million worldwide and eventually cleared $260 million . Meanwhile, Melania Trump documentary might not earn back ten cents on the dollar.
Social media clips show audiences booing the trailer in theaters . Amazon isn’t screening it for critics. At this point, it feels less like a movie rollout and more like a corporate hostage situation

    1. On a positive note, Iowa is going into the shitter too.
      1. More rural hospitals closing: MercyOne announced last week it will close its Ottumwa Family and Internal Medicine Clinic on Feb. 27—and, apparently, workers only found out just before the public announcement. Pella Regional Medical Clinic in Ottumwa separately reduced its family practice operations starting last week, citing challenges in getting and keeping health care providers. “The privatization of Medicaid has only made things worse, burdening our health care providers with more administrative costs and leading to higher costs for Iowans, and threatening rural hospitals,” candidate for governor Rob Sand said in a release. “As governor, I’ll work to reverse the privatization of Medicaid and protect our rural hospitals.”
      2. Tariffs hitting farmers hard: Ag businesses are traveling to DC, and farm industry groups are saying that per-acre tariff bailout money is not enough to help farmers climb out of debt and asking Congress to allocate more. “Our corn is selling 44 cents below the estimated cost of production,” said Aaron Lehman, president of the Iowa Farmers Union. “Soybeans, locally, they’re selling for $1.30 below … Farmers are losing money on every bushel that they grow.”
      3. Workers who aren’t farmers aren’t doing well either, according to the latest labor share statistics, which show how well workers are doing in wages compared to bosses. Lowest ever labor share, cool, cool.

      Thank your Republican legislators.

          1. Guess what, you foolish little man, President Biden wasn’t re-elected and your mentally unstable choice was. When he comes for your guns, what will you say?

    2. Breaking news – Fox says ‘Melania’ should be nominated for an Oscar. Of course, they do. But they aren’t a biased network. Wink, wink.

    1. If allegedly 50,000 people show up to “protest” I would say homeland security’s operation in Minnesota is a smashing success. The left is going absolutely nuts because the fraud train is screeching to a halt. The dirtbags, pirates, crooks, criminals and lowlifes are getting ejected every hour, hour after hour. Law and order is being restored.

        1. Dang buddy, you are drippy with anger. Go hug kittens at the animal shelter or something, oralize your bong, anything to take the edge off… please. You don’t own guns, I hope?

          1. What’s the matter, Mattie? Afraid to watch the video and see your platitudes for ICE proven wrong? You lied when you wrote “Law and order is being restored.” Sure doesn’t look like anything is being restored to me. Tomorrow the protests are going to be even bigger.

              1. Minnesota is a right to carry state. That works both ways, foolish man. He had the gun in his waistband in the back. He didn’t draw it, ICE took it from him and shot him ten times.

                  1. I guess you don’t have a concealed carry permit. Every person I know who has one, carries all the time. When they go to the store, when they go out to eat, when they drive around town. They think they should be able to carry it into a school when they attend a sporting or other event. They carry it in their car. But, when someone who doesn’t agree with your ideology, they asked to be shot.

              1. It is aging quite well. trump dumped his ICE director and sent him back to where we will never hear him lie again. He brought Krusti Noem to the WH last night to chastise her for lying to the public when videos show that she is lying, He is saying nice things about Frey and Walz now that public opinion is really, really against him. And he is withdrawing some of his thugs from Minnesota.

                1. You really think Trump fired anyone… he reshuffled the deck. He and his team probably went over this exact scenario weeks ago. Don’t be so naive.

                  1. I am certainly not naive. I know this is a precursor to stopping the 2026 midterm election. Everything is working out for the Project 2025 people. Remember when trump said he knew nothing about it? Another lie accepted by the right.

                    1. Which election has Trump stopped so far? Trump is not a dictator, nor a fascist. He is simply too good at his job, and this infuriates the left. Accomplishing too much, with the help of total domination by GOP in all three branches of govt.

                    1. Maybe you should go up there and report on the protests. You would at least have some credibility then. RIght now, you are shilling for the right wing nutjobs running (ruining) this country. And it is pitiful.

  35. Cohen accused both James and Bragg of blurring “the line between justice and politics” to advance their careers as the officials who “took down Trump.”

    This isn’t Cohen defending Trump.

He made clear he’s speaking out because “prosecutors pick their target first and then seek evidence to fit a predetermined narrative.”

That’s exactly what happened with Michael Flynn during the Mueller investigation

                1. Your reasoning is flawed. You admit trump blurs the lines, then you say it is ok because someone else did it. Who did it? Where did they do it? Why did they do it? Didn’t your mother ever tell you two wrongs don’t make a right? Or did she say two wrongs make a right?

  36. A US army veteran and Purple Heart hero was shoved to the ground by ICE, arrested and thrown in jail for 8 hours without access to a lawyer just for standing and watching them!
William Vermie, a veteran of the Iraq War who sustained injuries in combat, said he was “standing on a sidewalk observing agents arresting two people when he says officers began pushing bystanders back.”
“They were bringing out those two young boys … then the ICE agents were moving down the sidewalk, shoving people and telling them to get off the sidewalk,” Vermie said. “They shoved me when I didn’t move out of the way fast enough.”
They cuffed him almost immediately. “I tried to keep onto my feet and then eventually somebody grabbed one of my legs and then I went over and they all toppled on top of me and got me in cuffs,” said Vermie.
He was taken to the federal gulag at the Whipple building, where he was held for 8 hours and denied his Miranda right to a lawyer.
“They did offer bathroom breaks and water breaks, and I did ask for a band-aid and they gave it to me. But I’d rather have a lawyer than a band-aid when I’m being detained,” said Vermie.
KARE11 reports that “Attorney John Chitwood, who said he was hired by Vermie’s family, said he went to the Whipple Building and waited hours to speak with his client. Chitwood said he was told he could not meet with Vermie because Vermie had not requested him by name — something Vermie wouldn’t have known since he did not get in contact with family.”
“I have represented people accused of the most horrific crimes, and I have never encountered the type of stonewalling, deliberate stonewalling and delay, that I experienced in trying to see Will,” Chitwood said.
“He is a combat-wounded Iraq War vet, and if someone who has honorably served their country is treated this way by the federal government, by these ICE agents, then how are they treating other people?” Chitwood said. “It’s shameful. It is un-American to the core.”
What ICE is doing is indeed beyond shameful and wildly un-American. It is shocking to see the sheer contempt that these ICE goons have for their fellow countrymen, no matter who they are or what they’ve done.
For people who call themselves “patriots,” they sure hate everyone else in this country. It’s almost like this is not about immigration or nationalism but solely about the exercise of power and violence for the sake of it.

      1. If it was about immigratio, then why isn’t ICE in Texas or FLorida. Both have much higher numbers of undocumented immigrants than Minnesota.

          1. Doing what? Each state has about 5-10 times as many as Minnesota. Andl, in case you live in an igloo, Minnesota has cooperated with ICE hundreds of times in the past. They just don’t like it when they decide that the Constitution isn’t something ICE has to follow.

            1. seriously pal… Waltz has called them Gestopos, Nazis, criminals. Accused them of just kidnapping torture etc.. Since when do illegals have more rights than a United States Citizen? They have no help from local law enforcement protesters (yea right) throw snow balls, spit yell in their face with bull horns just a few fine peacefull folks… The vietnam protestors are back and this time a bunch are getting paid by Soros

              1. ICE is acting like the Gestapo. Did you see the memo they got about search warrants? In case you missed it, despite the Constitution stating that search warrants are necessary for going into a residence, the memo tells them they don’t need warrants to break into people’s homes. Why? Because HSI says they can ignore the basic rights guaranteed by the Constitution. That is just one example of their disregard for the rule of law and the Constitution.
