Mason City police arrest man after multiple persons injured

MASON CITY – Police were called this morning to a North End house and arrested a man on felony charges after a number of injured persons were discovered.

According to Mason City police, at 1:58 AM this morning, an argument was reported near the intersection of 14th Street and North Washington. Officers arrived to find a female lying on the ground near a vehicle that had several slashed tires and a broken windshield in front of 1309 North Washington.

Mason City fire medics were called and transported the female to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Police continued to investigate the assault and soon arrested 31-year-old Brian Nathaniel Smith of 1309 North Washington in Mason City for Willful Injury (D Felony), Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree ( D Felony). Additional victims were identified during the investigation and additional charges have been filed on Smith also for Willful Injury (D Felony) and Assault Causing Serious Injury (Serious Misdemeanor) connected to the additional victims.

Smith is being held in the county jail on a total of $35,000 bond.

This guy needs to be locked up, maybe at Gitmo, or he should get a lobotomy. Just white trash, breathing somebody else’s air.

This is another damn drug house that needs to be condemed.
