MASON CITY – There are six persons seeking 3 seats on the Clear Lake city council, highlighting the elections in Cerro Gordo county this year.
In the Council At-Large election, Peter G. Lagios takes his second shot at office in challenging incumbent Michael E. Callanan. In the Ward 1 Council election, Mark Ebeling and Rich Oehlert vie for an open seat, and in the Ward 3 Council election, incumbent Jim Boehnke is challenged by Dana Brant, who vacates his Ward 1 seat.

There’s one guy running at qweer lake that has a snow balls chance in hell. But then again, he’s full of shit like all politicians, so maybe he has a chance.
