CLEAR LAKE — The Cerro Gordo County Republican Party is set to host a major political gathering this weekend, bringing a large slate of state and federal candidates to North Iowa for its “Patriots & Pancakes” fundraiser.
The event will take place tomorrow, Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Best Western in Clear Lake. Doors are scheduled to open at 9:00 a.m., with a speaking program featuring numerous confirmed candidates beginning at 10:00 a.m.
A Packed Slate of Candidates

Doubt that Feenstra will show. He doesn’t want to be anywhere where he doesn’t know the questions in advance. It is ironic also that they say this is called “Patriots & Pancakes” because almost all of these people support trump who isn’t a patriot.
