Morgan L. Tarr, 33, of Mason City, passed away suddenly on February 28, 2026.
Morgan’s family will honor her life privately.
Morgan Lee Tarr was born January 21, 1993, in Mason City, the daughter of Douglas Keith Tarr and Lori Lee Price. As a child, Morgan had a unique opportunity to model for American Girl and appeared in several of their books. She also participated in many beauty pageants through the years.
Morgan attended Mason City Schools before moving with her family to the East Coast. She later graduated from Linganore High School in Maryland, where she was active in athletics. Morgan was a cheerleader and also played soccer and lacrosse. She was naturally athletic and enjoyed being active.
She continued her education in Maryland before eventually returning home to North Iowa. Over the years, Morgan held a variety of jobs and took pride in caring for others whenever she could.
Morgan loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing. She was kind, energetic, spunky, and loving. Morgan had a beautiful smile that many will remember. Above all, she was a loving mother who adored her children with all her heart. She was known for her respectful nature, her kindness, and the big heart she shared with those around her.
Morgan is survived by her children, Grayson Price-Olson, Rowen Ruiz, Riley Ruiz, and Noah Suefferlein; her father, Doug (Lori) Tarr; her sisters, Mariah Kessler and Dakota (Dylan) French; her grandparents, Lee (Mike) Olson and Keith & Sharon Tarr; and her bonus grandmother, Mary Price; aunts and uncles, Travis (Katie) Tarr, Kim (Rich) Meyer, Jackie Olson, Michelle Patterson, Arthur “Jay” Wynn III and Michael Price; bonus siblings, Alexis Mariner, Dakota (Dylan Abell) Fleshner, Bayley (Dylan) Busby, Rylan (Brenna Smith) Fleshner; bonus grandparents Dan & Connie Craighton; bonus aunts and uncles Eric (Tammie) Craighton and Danyell (George) Artley; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lori Kessler, and her grandfather, Larry Price.
