DAVENPORT – This suspect remains wanted on a warrant after he allegedly used a large rock to bash a police station’s glass doors and windows, then went to an Iowa hotel to distribute similar mayhem.

The incidents went down back on June 10, 2025. At 12:39 AM that morning, suspect 29-year-old Justin Joway went to the police station in Rock Island, Illinois and used a large rock to bash glass doors and windows there. He shattered the glass doors and than ran away on foot. Police said he is a suspect in several other attacks that night. They also claim Joway then went to Davenport, Iowa, and attacked a hotel there (the Blackhawk Hotel) and police nabbed him at 1:39 AM and took him to jail.

Records show Joway (pictured at top) was soon released from jail and was ordered to appear in court for a hearing and then arraignment on July 10, 2025. He did not appear and an arrest warrant was issued the next day. He remains wanted on the warrant.
