Forest City, Iowa – The Student Art Show opened in the Waldorf College Art Gallery on Monday, March 18 featuring the work of 13 Waldorf College students. An artist reception will occur on Tuesday, March 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. to give the community an opportunity to meet each of the artists and ask questions.

“I allowed the students themselves to choose how many pieces, and what pieces, they wanted to include in the show,” said Art Gallery Director and Instructor of Art Dean Swenson. “The result is work that reflects a variety of styles and some very different approaches to the same assignments.”

The Student Art Show runs through Friday, April 12. The Waldorf College Gallery is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. when classes are in session. Admission is free.
