CHARLES CITY – A Charles City woman driver was nabbed by cops for driving while suspended and no insurance on a sunny fall afternoon.

According to the Charles City police department, their officers conducted a traffic stop on Thursday, October 16, 2025. At 4:37 PM that day, 30-year-old Kali Christy Munn of Charles City was stopped by police in the 1800 block of Cleveland Avenue. After an investigation, she was arrested on the following charges:

  • DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

  • FAILURE TO PROVE SECRUITY AGAINST LIABILITY (NON-ACCIDENT)

Munn was booked into the Floyd county jail at 5:12 PM that day, and finally released on her own recognizance at 11:50 AM on October 17, as she awaits a court date.
