HAWKEYE, IOWA – After cops nabbed a wanted suspect who skipped out on court, his alleged meth possession led to a Northern Iowa house raid, where cops found more drugs and snared another suspect on a swath of felony charges.
On September 17th, 2025, at approximately 8:54 PM Fayette County Deputies arrested Brian Michael Rohrick, age 57 of Oelwein, on a Fayette County warrant for Failure to appear. Rohrick is also being charged with Possession of a controlled substance 3rd offense – methamphetamine (Class D Felony). After an investigation, a search warrant was executed at 228 W. Main St. in Hawkeye, Iowa. During the search, methamphetamine and marijuana were seized.
Brian David Coonradt, age 61 of Hawkeye, was charged with Possession of a controlled substance 3rd Offense – methamphetamine (Class D Felony), Intent to Deliver/Manufacture methamphetamine under 5 grams (Class C Felony), Possession of a controlled substance – Marijuana 3rd offense (Aggravated Misdemeanor), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor).
Rohrick and Coonradt were transported to the Fayette County Jail where they are awaiting an initial appearance. This incident remains under investigation.
