MASON CITY – The Mason city school district announced the retirement of over two dozens educators and staff and noted their “dedication, passion, and countless contributions” to students.

“As the school year comes to a close, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to this year’s retirees,” the district wrote in a newsletter. “Their dedication, passion, and countless contributions have left a lasting impact on our students, staff, and school community. Whether in the classroom, behind the scenes, or supporting student programs, each retiree has played a vital role in shaping the educational experience here. We celebrate their years of service and the legacy they leave behind, and we wish them all the best in this new and well-earned chapter of life.

“Congratulations, retirees! You will be deeply missed!”
