CLIVE – A Northern Iowa man accomplished a rare feat: winning two lottery prizes on the same day, and his vintage Ford F-350 stands to benefit from the cash windfall.

The Iowa Lottery announced that Deacon Luedeman of Springville, Iowa, won two lottery prizes in a recent drawing.  He won 2 prizes in Friday’s (April 11) Pick 4 midday drawing: one for $12,500, and another prize of $5,000, making him $17,500 richer.

The lottery says Luedeman plans to put the dough into completing the restoration of his 1978 Ford F-350.

“This is the finishing touch,” Mr. Luedeman said.

The thousands in winnings will pay for the final part of the truck’s restoration: a paint job.  He plans to select a two-tone gray/white color combination.
