MASON CITY – Three people were taken to the hospital after a GMC Sierra pickup collided with a Jaguar F at a Mason City intersection early Sunday morning.
According to Mason City police, officers were called to personal injury/rollover crash at 12th Street NE and North Hampshire Avenue at 6:05 AM on October 27, 2024. Police tell NIT that 25-year-old Avery Garner of Mason City was driving a white 2014 GMC Sierra pick-up truck and was southbound on Hampshire at 12th Street. Meanwhile, 30-year-old Sindeny White of Mason City was driving a gray 2017 Jaguar F and was westbound on 12th Street at Hampshire. There was an adult female passenger in White’s Jaguar.
The vehicles collided at the corner and the Jaguar rolled over. At the scene, neighbors were shaken out of bed to see what the calamity was all about. Debris littered the road way as folks stumbled to safety.
Both vehicles are totaled. All three occupants were transported to MercyOne by Mason City Fire Department personnel with non-life threatening injuries.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
