FAYETTE COUNTY – A Northern Iowa woman was jailed after injuring a police officer and possessing meth.
On February 16, 2023, at approximately 11:40 PM, a Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 45-year-old Victoria Nieman Maynard, Iowa, for driving while suspended, simple misdemeanor. Nieman was was also charged with Interference with official acts causing injury, a serious misdemeanor; assault on a peace officer causing injury and possession of methamphetamine 2nd offense, both aggravated misdemeanors.
Nieman was taken into custody and transported to Fayette County Jail where she is being held until initial appearance.
