construction will be null if the EAS airline is approved to leave its contract. no more jet service. public needs to be heard if they want a jet service. DOT can deny their request to lower flight count. this is how it starts. beginning of the end. amending the contract and ADDING a flight to DEN service with public backing MC may have a chance to hold onto its jet service. allowing them to cut will be detrimental. send emails to support keeping the jet in MC to appropriate City Admins.

I have flown out of MC a few times, one (or two?) flights a day makes for long layovers at MSP or Chicago or wherever they fly into now. Back in the day when they had multiple flights a day it wasn’t much better, more of my flights were cancelled than ever flew to MSP. I drove myself, and another passenger, when they were going to make us wait who knows how long for a bus.
I will drive to MSP a million times before I ever fly out of MC again.
i used to TRECK up to MSP. parking headache, long security lines…..plus the drive. never ever want yo deal with that again. people who fly regularly hate it. skywest flies to ord. you can literally go anywhere from there. denver would be another great add on. people aren’t going to cone and live and work to a landlocked place like MC. it’s suffocating without a quick route out.
