“Today I’m announcing action to lower the cost of gas and oil for American families,” the President said. “The Department of Energy will make available releases of 50 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to lower gas and oil prices for Americans.
I have been working with countries across the world to address the lack of supply. As a result of our diplomatic efforts, this step will be taken in parallel with other major energy consuming nations including China, India, Japan, Republic of Korea and the United Kingdom.”
Soon, energy-efficient electric vehicle will grace our roads and freeways, making oil more obsolete and gasoline a relic of the past.

Biden can thank Trump for the extra emergency oil reserve. This is a temporary fix that most won’t even notice it make a difference. The real solution is to re-instate Trumps policy for energy independence. Biden is just a wet diaper propped up at the podium. Good distraction though from the real problems we are all facing.

We would have had this problem with trump. It is your good friends the rich guys that are causing the increase. They have invested heavily in oil because they thought it would rebound bigly when the pandemic was over. Rather than releasing the oil they have invested in, they pressed OPEC and American oil to cut production so there would be less gas available and the prices would go up therefore increasing profit which is what they wanted.
You truly have Trump living in your head. If you weren’t such a dipshit, you would know about supply and demand. Oil wells in the US are regulated to only pump so much, government contracts to horde our oil, and use other countries.
Trump opened the the way for the safest, fastest movement of petroleum, from the fields to the refineries to markets, Pedo Joe shut them down.
The government had leases for drilling, Pedo Joe said, “NO, NO, NO!”.
All the things Trump did drove the price of oil down. Pedo Joe has put it in an express elevator.
So, Pedo Joe decides to go and beg OPEC to raise their production levels, this is after, the US has been buying far less than in the past. OPEC wants to make up some of the money they have lost, idiot.
