John K. Alig, son of Leland and Doris (Hanson) Alig, was born on December 10, 1955 in Estherville, Iowa. He passed away from complications of covid on October 27, 2021 in Keokuk, Iowa at the age of 65 years.
John graduated from Estherville High School in 1974. He worked for Alig Excavating for many years.
John is survived by his siblings Mike Alig and his wife Peggy, Dave Alig and his significant other Rose, Diane Lynch, Kate Woods and her husband Bill, and Marcia Kulow and her husband Tom; and his son, Eric. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his parents Leland and Doris and his brother-in-law Dick Lynch.
A private family service for John will be held.
