DES MOINES – Progress Iowa announced this week that their seventh annual Progress Iowa Corn Feed will be held on Tuesday, October 26th with Rep. Cindy Axne, State Auditor Rob Sand, and more. Due to the pandemic, this event will be a virtual training session to advocate for progressive values.

Last year’s Progress Iowa Corn Feed featured Rep. Katie Porter with more than 110,000 viewers. This year’s virtual Corn Feed will be accessible to a wide audience, streaming through Facebook, while also providing more resources to take action.

“Our organization is excited to bring back our annual event and energize our progressive community,” said Matt Sinovic, executive director of Progress Iowa. “As political advocacy has transformed in recent years, it’s crucial we come together and ensure we’re all sharing progressive messaging in the most productive manner. Everyone who’s able to attend will leave feeling inspired to get to work prior to the upcoming session and the 2022 election.”

Attendees will receive broad-based message training, instructions on how to write effective letters to the editor, advocate online, and be more effective in our rural outreach efforts. Organizers expect more speaker announcements soon. Attendees are asked to register online at ProgressIowaCornFeed.com in order to be the first to learn event updates.

The Progress Iowa Corn Feed will be live-streamed at 12:00 p.m. central time on Tuesday, October 26th, and will focus on bringing together Iowa’s progressive community from the comfort of everyone’s homes. Organizers are asking participants to RSVP at www.ProgressIowaCornFeed.com.

Progress Iowa is a multi-issue progressive advocacy organization with a network of more than 75,000 progressives.

  1. Why should I pay for your childcare, no one paid for mine. We struggled week to week to support a family of five, if you can’t support a family of five, three children and two adults why the f–k would you talk about having more children ? It is not up to taxpayers to support your children if you can’t provide for your children then maybe you shouldn’t have them!

  2. Democrats are above the law. The DOJ is focused on terrorists practicing their First Amendment rights in school board meetings!

  3. If the Dems are “trying to save” America, I’d hate to see what they would do if they were trying to destroy it.

      1. Trumps 4 years had this country in a better position at home and worldwide than it had been in almost 30 years. I guess it depends on what you scale your opinion on. If you prefer government tyranny over the American dream, then you probably are loving this failure of a presidential administration.

    1. This is a real possibility. Plus, he doesn’t have two drunk driving convictions like KR does. She likes the Black Velvet, ABC said so.

        1. Ya she looks sober, alright. She committed serious crimes that could have killed people. Now she’s in charge of the state. Voters need help in Iowa electing people like this, her decision-making is suspect at best. She should stick to the Black Velvet and the trashy mini van look, it suits her better than her pant suits.

          1. Terry Branstad’s kid Eric actually did kill two people in a car wreck when he was a drunken-driving teenager. What was his penalty? Daddy and mommy sent him to rehab, got him into a prestigious college, got him good jobs, and Donald Dumpster hired him. That’s privilege.

    2. Iowa loves Kim. You people who vote D, are all welcome to move to NY, Cali, WA or any other failing D state. Don’t try and ruin our good thing
