RADCLIFFE, IA – A teen is dead after a head-on collision with a semi-truck Saturday morning in Hardin county.
According to a report, at about 6:45 AM Saturday, a 2004 Chevy Impala driven by 17 year-old Braden McCalister Wicks crossed a center line as it traveled eastbound on Highway 175 just west of Radcliffe and struck a semi-truck head-on.
Wicks was transported to Mercy Hospital in Mason City and pronounced dead. The driver of the semi-truck, 62 year-old Floyd Eugene Wiley, of Zearing, was also injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
