DES MOINES – Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, Sen. Chuck Grassley and Sen. Joni Ernst released the following joint statement regarding Iowa’s presidential caucuses:

“Iowa’s unique role encourages a grassroots nominating process that empowers everyday Americans, not Washington insiders or powerful billionaires. The face-to-face retail politics nature of Iowa’s caucus system also encourages dialogue between candidates and voters that makes our presidential candidates accountable for the positions they take and the records they hold.

“Iowa’s large population of independent voters and its practice of careful deliberation contributes greatly to the national presidential primary and makes it the ideal state to kick off the nominating process.

“Iowa’s bipartisan first-in-the-nation status helped lead to the nomination of President Obama and has the full backing of President Trump. The process is not suffering because of a short delay in knowing the final results.

“Iowans and all Americans should know we have complete confidence that every last vote will be counted and every last voice will be heard.

“We look forward to Iowa carrying on its bipartisan legacy of service in the presidential nominating process.”

Those that want Biden? This is Joe; a shit talking, no talent, self-aggrandizing, turd of a human that’s done absolutely nothing for America, even with decades spent in D.C. He blames everyone around him because he sucks. I’d feel sorry for his scapegoat, except she picked this b-hole to work for and must now “take her medicine,” as it were. At least she didn’t get “suicided”…so there’s that.

Face it Democrats,a mere businessman has accomplished more than most politicians have been able to do.He uses common sense and logic in place of politics and it works even when negotiating with other countries and making agreements. I will support that man as long as he wants to run for office . He is the greatest.

Trump was declared the winner of the Republican Iowa caucuses about 30 minutes after they began and won 97.1 per cent of the vote.

I will always stand up for Iowa’s first in nation Caucuses. This article correctly makes the point, that the “face to face” retail politics can not be equaled by any state in the Union.

Vote counting has been controversial since the dawn of time! That my friends are politics, whether you are a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, or Independent.

All Iowans should continue to fight to be the first in the nation to nominate Presidential Candidates. It’s called being Iowa Nice!

I am always amazed by the emotionalism of the people who comment on here. If you have something to say, say it, validate it, and remember, courtesy at all times. Most of the people on here want their 15 minutes of fame, and feel that rudeness and bad language impresses people. It’s plain the most of them have no idea of the platforms or issues that are being considered. Educate yourself, think about the issues, and then comment intelligently and courteously about it. It’s what America and politics should be about.

Wow, CNN is not a news agency, it’s the modern equivalent of a televised rag mag. No news, only whiny, leftist bullshit. Don’t blame the liberal voters of Iowa that all the Dem candidates are useless, untrustworthy gits, it’s not their fault. They’re already blaming Trump for the crappy “non-results” from last night. Really? The Left shows how ignorant they are and will continue to be, despite the obvious warning signs. Their nonstop active hate of Trump is the the new ‘deplorables’ cry from 2016…you people are so busy running your mouths that you don’t realize you’ve already lost. Good day, you best stock up on Kleenex.

The poll that has been released right before the Iowa caucus for the past 76 years straight was scrapped because Pete’s team complained. And Pete’s team funded the company (Shadow) that built the failed election app used in Iowa. (you can’t make this up) And then Pete declared victory before results were released?? #iowa caucus

Shadow Inc., a for-profit technology company that creates apps for progressive political campaigns.

About Shadow INC., Pete Buttegieg used the peer to peer texting app to contact “hopefully” donors.

The firm behind the phone app that caused delays in reporting the results of the Iowa Democratic caucus is operated by three Hillary Clinton campaign veterans.
The CEO of Shadow Inc., Gerard Niemira, was the director of product on Clinton’s campaign, his LinkedIn profile says.
Ahna Rao, the product manager for Shadow Inc., was the special assistant to the chief technology officer on Clinton’s campaign, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Krista Davis, the chief technology officer at Shadow, was a software engineer on Clinton’s campaign, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Campaign finance records show that several state Democratic parties and multiple presidential candidates have paid Shadow Inc. for tech services.

Neknoh, You are so, so WRONG.

A jack-ass (or jackass) is a male donkey.

Donkeys are in fact a highly intelligent animal despite popular misconception. A donkey is stronger than a horse of the same size. Donkeys have an incredible memory – they can recognize areas and other donkeys they were with up to 25 years ago.

The party mascot maybe a Jackass, but Democrats ARE NOT as smart as them.

It is time to stop Iowa from being the first in the nation to vote for the presidential candidates. There is something wrong when you get on the subway in D. C. The first ads you see are for corn and Boeing. Farm policy should not be tied so closely to the Iowa caucuses.

I would disagree, so you think that we should, what, tie coal mining to Iowa politics?
The only way we, those of us from Iowa, get to be heard in the caucuses, is because of the first in the nation status we have.
I realize that you are just a plant, it happens every election cycle.

Thanks! “The Count” from Sesame Street would have this wrapped up last evening. The DNC is obviously holding out so the nation takes away Iowa’s first caucus status.
