CLEAR LAKE – Cops pulled a vehicle from Clear Lake that had been there for years yet claim it’s not linked to foul play or ongoing investigations.
On Monday August 09, 2021 a submerged vehicle was recovered from Clear Lake near this boat ramp location. The vehicle was recently discovered by a fisherman on the lake who notified law enforcement authorities. The submerged vehicle was located in 9′ of water. An underwater recovery team was utilized to bring the vehicle to shore and the vehicle was then transported to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Office. Further investigation of the vehicle revealed that it was unoccupied with all windows closed. The vehicle was likely underwater for several years. The Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Office is currently working to identify the last known owner of the vehicle. At this time there is no reason to believe that this recovered vehicle is linked to any foul play or any ongoing investigations being conducted in our area.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Clear Lake Police Department, Clear Lake Fire Department, Okoboji Underwater Recovery Specialists and Lake Towing of Clear Lake.

Where’s the stories about Amanda Ragan supporting CRT in schools, OPEN BORDERS during a PANDEMIC!!
Do you honestly think the mainstream media is going to tell you most people don’t want their children force fed CRT.
The votes have gone against the indoctrination centers force feeding “Creating Racists Today” to children.
NIT needs an investigating journalist.
Cmon, so what kind of car was it? At least give us that much.
The kind that had wheels.
So, will we ever find out who’s car it was, inquiring minds would like to know. How about a follow up?
There is a spot by the island that is around 20 ft.deep but it is a small hole. How did some boat not hit that car over the years?
What boat ramp was that. I didn’t think that clear lake was that deep, anywhere.
18 ft deep. You’ve never seen a lake map before?
nope. where do you get them?
