Nathan Kettwig, 24, of Mason City, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
A memorial service for Nathan Kettwig will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City. Inurnment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour before the service on Thursday.
Nathan Aaron Kettwig, the son of Shawn Kettwig and Lisa (Chambers) Fekete, was born on January 2, 1997 in Mason City. He attended high school in Manly.
Nathan worked at Doors, Inc. in Swaledale. Nathan loved to spend his time outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing and sitting around the bonfire with his family and friends. Above most everything in his life, he loved his two children.
Nathan is survived by his daughter, Kinsley Lynn Janeen Kettwig; son, Bentley Reid Kettwig; mother of his children, Mackenna Kay Hambly; father, Shawn Kettwig; twin brother, Nicholas David Kettwig; nephew, Kasen Michael Kettwig; paternal grandmother, Karen Sue Kettwig; uncle, Matt (Jessica) Chambers; aunt, Shelly Martin; uncles: Jeff (Mary Lumley) Kettwig, Steve Kettwig, and Curt Kettwig; Hambly family; Brocka Family; and Darwin Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Fekete; maternal grandparents, David and Diana Chambers; and maternal great-grandparents, Von and Gloria Chambers.
