GARNER – Local law enforcement is now searching for an absconded sex offender.
David John Banak, age 46, has multiple warrants in Hancock County, the sheriff’s office there announced Tuesday. The asked for the public to turn in any information that might lead to his capture.
Banak has been convicted of a number of violent crimes. He was convicted of indecent exposure to a teen female in Winnebago county back in 2006.
