DES MOINES – Mason City cheerleaders turned in exceptional performances over the weekend at the State Cheer Competition.
The Mason City Mohawk Timeout Cheer squad took home the State title this Saturday at the Iowa High School State Cheer Competition. The Cheer Comp team took 4th on Saturday. Both teams went up against the top teams in the state and came home with trophies to fill the trophy case.
Also in 1A Time Out, Northwood-Kensett took home first place.
