RURAL MASON CITY – A Cerro Gordo deputy spotted a suspicious vehicle in a remote area and discovered a woman inside with meth.
On Monday, February 27, 2018, at about 2:10 AM, a Cerro Gordo county deputy happened upon a suspicious vehicle near the 14000 block of 230th Street. After an investigation, 36-year-old Darlene Gladys Barr of Alexander, Iowa was arrested for possession of meth. The vehicle was towed away from the scene.
Barr was jailed and released after posting surety bond, records show. She’s due in court March 7.
