STATEMENT FROM MATT MARQUARDT, CANDIDATE FOR CITY COUNCIL, ON SUPPORT FROM PHIL SANCHEZ :
I am very pleased to announce that Phil Sanchez has thrown his support behind our campaign for city council.
I have always admired Phil’s dedication to what he believes in. Coming from humble beginnings and a working class family myself, I strongly identify with hard-working folks who are looking for a fair shake.
Phil ran a great campaign, a clean campaign, and conducted himself in an honorable way. He definitely earned his 241 votes on November 7. To those of you who voted for Phil, he’s let me know that he’s voting for me in the December 5 election:
“I will be voting for you, Matt,” Phil told me. “And I hope my votes go to you, as I know you will represent the Fourth Ward well.”
Again, I am honored to have Phil’s vote and support in this election, and I hope all Sanchez supporters will get to the polls to cast a vote for Matt Marquardt.

Let’s all hope Solberg (the town clown) does support John. That will seal the deal for Matt.
John is another Solberg, has nothing, does nothing and is nothing.
It is not a fair question. It is sticking your nose in someone else’s business. Did you ask all the other candidates where they got their money? Why not. Why are you singling out Matt for your harassment?
