MASON CITY – After falling out of the poll last week, the NIACC baseball team returned to the NJCAA Division II poll this week at No. 17 on Tuesday.
NIACC, which was No. 12 in the preseason poll released on Jan. 23, was not ranked in the March 14 poll.
NIACC (13-8 overall) was 7-4 last week. The Trojans took two of three games from No. 12 (NJCAA Division II) Northern Oklahoma College-Enid, topped No. 18 (NJCAA Division I) Barton CC 9-6 and split a four-game series with Iowa Western, which is a NJCAA Division I school.
Southeastern CC is ranked No. 14 in the NJCAA Division II poll.
NIACC opens the ICCAC portion of its schedule Saturday and Sunday at DMACC.
