Mason City man arrested after stumbling down street

MASON CITY – Cops received a number of calls from concerned citizens late Saturday night about a man stumbling down the street, and an arrest was made.

Around 11 PM Saturday, at least two calls were made to emergency dispatchers about a man they saw stumbling and falling down on a sidewalk along Highway 122 near Mercy Hospital. Police arrived at the area and located a male subject who they determined to be intoxicated.

Officers arrested Nolan David Storlie, age 26 of Mason City, on charges of public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance. He was later released a he awaits a court date.
