CHARLES CITY – A wanted woman was arrested in Charles City late last week.
Amy Sue Johnson was arrested by Charles City police officers on August 8 at the 600 block of South Johnson Street on a warrant. Johnson failed to show up for a July 14 sentencing hearing for fraudulent use of a credit card and ongoing criminal conduct. She had pled guilty in May.
Johnson is being held in the Floyd County Jail awaiting a new hearing. She is also accused of stealing a purse in July and using using the foodstamp card inside the purse at area businesses. She awaits an August 19 hearing in that case.
