MASON CITY – If you have an interest in healthy living, you probably know that the human body is mostly water – in fact, up to 65% water.

Knowing that fact, it stands to reason that the quality of water a person ingests would seem to be extremely important.  Chad Wicks of Mason City is seeking to capitalize on the importance of water in people’s diets and lives by offering “Wonder Water” at his newly-opened store on South Federal Avenue in MasonCity.

Wicks’ store – located at 502 South Federal Avenue – offers people a range of choices in water.  The drinking water – which he calls “Wonder Water” – has all of the harmful chemicals, additives and other substances stripped out by a powerful water filtering machine. In addition, the water’s PH (alkaline versus acidity) is balanced by his one-of-a-kind filtration system so that the water is perfect for drinking, as well as washing, cooking and even healing some skin conditions.

The drinking water, for example, shows a marked difference from regular Mason City tap water.  The water is crystal clear and delicious, and when making tea or coffee, there is no “film” or residue on top, like you can expect when using plain tap water.

Wicks wants to invite anyone with an interest in water for a healthy lifestyle to stop into his store, Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM, to chat with him about how Wonder Water can help lead to a healthier lifestyle.  The phone number to the Wonder Water store is 641-512-9044.

  1. …help me understand here…the water is “stripped” of everything in it…but it “tastes” wonderful. If it “has” a “taste”, then there is something “in” the water that gives it a “taste”…thus it can’t have been “stripped” of everything!!! Pure clean water has no “taste”…the “taste” comes from the “stuff” in the water!
