WEST DES MOINES – Former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin was in Iowa Sunday to attend a rally for US Senate candidate Joni Ernst (R-Red Oak).
Palin said her visit to Iowa “was a great experience with an amazing group of ‘mama grizzlies’
Palin thanked everyone who attended the “Heels On, Gloves Off” rally in West Des Moines, including Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds, Senator Deb Fischer, and Governor Kay Orr.
“It’s imperative we work together to send this soldier, mom, and America’s favorite Iowa pork farmer to Washington to make the big spenders squeal.”
At the rally, it was reported that Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds called Ernst “Iowa’s best hope to beat Bruce Braley”.
“I haven’t been this excited about a candidate in quite a while,” Palin said at the rally. “Heck yeah we found a candidate. We know we can have faith in and trust her. She’s proven herself over and over again. She is the right one.”
Palin has been making the rounds across the nation, showing up and speaking at rallies for Republican candidates.
