MASON CITY – Cerro Gordo County Sheriff Kevin Pals said Monday that the investigation into the death of a 7 year-old Swaledale boy is on-going at this time but charges are not expected to be filed.
The boy, Devlin Obregon, was struck by a grain truck Friday evening in Swaledale and was later pronounced deceased at Mercy Hospital in Mason City. Robert Quinlan of Rockwell was driving the truck.
