CLEAR LAKE – The downtown area and City Park were loaded with people Thursday evening in Clear Lake as the community held its weekly “Thursdays on Main” event.
The family-friendly event is organized by the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce and all the activities are free. Activities included live music, featured entertainment, classic cars, a bounce house, hand-powered kiddie train rides, vendor street market which includes food stands, and a movie in the park. Area retail stores stay open late as well.
There was live music from Danny Grause and the kid’s movie was Escape from Planet Earth (rated PG).
The next Thursdays on Main event will be on July 11th. Next Thursday in downtown Clear Lake, the Fourth of July celebration will be held instead.
