MASON CITY – A vacancy on the Mason City School Board was filled Thursday morning.
Mason City School District Superintendent Anita Micich confirmed Thursday that at the Special Session of the Mason City Board of Education held this morning, Gary Hoffman, former Mason City School Board member, was appointed to fill the current vacancy for the Mason City Board of Education created by Mark Young’s resignation on May 20th.
Several School Board seats will be up for election on September 10th.
