WASHINGTON – Before leaving for this week’s G-8 summit in the United Kingdom, President Obama sat down with Charlie Rose in the White House Library for a 45-minute interview on topics ranging from Syria to the National Security Agency.

The difference between Bush and Obama is that Bush passed and used the Patriot act because he was paranoid about foreign and domestic terrorists who wanted to harm our country. Obama is paranoid about foreign and domestic terrorists who want to harm our country and HIM politically. He showed this by signing an executive order using the Patriot Act to arrest anyone who protests against him or anyone else inside an area under Secret Service protection. That’s why I call him J. Edgar Obama.
If the people just had the money Obummer wastes on all his world trips. Taking whole family, relatives and friends. Cars transported galore. Staying and eating at the best high dollar places. We work and save, he taxes us so he can spend spend spend. I say only those that voted for him should be taxed. The rest of us should not have to pay like many of his cohorts in the administration. At least we should be fair taxed.

? Well, interesting thought. But seems to me to be insufficiently thought out. The Patriot Act may have been a good idea at the time since the liberal criticism complaints were about America’s lack of Intelligence back then. The Patriot Act’s intent was to acquire info on our foreign enemies to hopefully better avoid further attacks. Controversial yes, effective? Yes again. No terror attacks on American soil under Ole GW. Now however, under the direction of ‘The Great Deceiver’ aka Chief Marxist Progressive Liberal Barack Hussein Obama, the goals of the once proud NSA have been shifted to targeting American Citizens here at home. For what I wonder. Could it be that the IRS with the aid of the NSA, link together and target Conservatives under Obamacare for yugo style healthcare, while liberal Democrats get the Cadillac version? Not to mention how “Domestic Drones” figure into all of this Citizen Surveillance. But as you suggest, I must be “Moronic” surely, because I wonder why the NSA has construction underway in Utah for a building project 5 times larger than the US Capital building with the capability to store a thousand years worth of Meta Data for the entire WORLD!

People that think there is a scandal with the intelligence gathering of the NSA must have been in a coma since before the Patriot Act passed in Oct of 2001. Just what do you think that law was all about? The bill passed by congress and signed by GWB stripped away many of our 4th amendment rights. Where were the right wingers when it passed back then? This is a scandal only in the heads of morons. Get real!!

What makes you think I collect any kind of welfare? I have earned my way in life and paid for it with money I worked for. I put 2 kids thru collage with money I worked for. I pay taxes every year and my guess would be that I pay more than you. I now live on a pension that I earned working and draw SS that I paid into for more than 40 years. You and your teabagger friends don’t have a clue as to what being a liberal is all about. You and your buddies make comments like “You’re just protecting your right to keep collecting welfare for doing nothing.” without any proof or knowledge and claim it to be the truth. When you have an intelligent comment to make I will be happy to discus it with you, but until then you just keep on proving how ignorant you really are. As I mentioned before, you know which comments are from conservatives just from the poor grammar, spelling & punctuation. They attack liberals because of their own inadequacies. They think the best debaters are the ones who can use the most profanity and name calling. If they truly think it’s only Democrats who are on welfare, they should make a visit to redneck country and talk with some of the people sitting on their couches on their porches drinking beer. You won’t find a lot of liberals there, but you’ll find plenty of people on the dole.
