Today is special, especially for voters. I know the holiday is devoted to the armed services and those who gave their lives for freedom.
When you burn the forest and sift the ashes….what have you got…you’ve got freedom and the right to chose who will govern, who will represent you to ensure your rights are dealt fairly for one and all. For over 100 years men & women have died to ensure these freedoms. The Civil War and all other wars that followed where our people fell on foreign soil….some left there never to return, others flown home in the bottom of the plane.
The greatest gift you can bestow upon those who gave their very lives is to go to the voting booth and cash that ticket they gave you….vote, vote to show respect, vote for them…and for yourself.
