MASON CITY – Christie Vilsack, running against incumbent Congressman Steve King for the Fourth District seat in the House of Representatives, is in Mason City today.
She met this afternoon with locked out workers from American Crystal Sugar at the Labor Temple.
Iowa Senator Amanda Ragan and Iowa House Representative Sharon Steckman also were in attendance.
The meeting was closed to the media and the public.
Vilsack will be at 291 Lakeview Drive at 5:00 PM for a fundraiser. U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota is scheduled to be in attendance.

WOW-Three SPEND SISTERS all in the same place. Don’t they know STUPID is forever and these guys were STUPID enough to give up good paying jobs and now they want sympathy.
I don’t know if you can tell the difference between a LOCK OUT and a strike, because these guys are locked out. They never gave up their jobs, they got LOCKED OUT of those jobs.
