Fall Studio Classes at the MacNider Art Museum Beginning Now

MASON CITY – Fall is the perfect time to begin an aesthetic adventure.  The studio classes at the MacNider Art Museum will open up new avenues for imaginative projects for you and your family.  Immerse yourself in a drawing workshop, explore the ins and outs of your digital camera, make a stained glass window or learn to throw a pot on the wheel.  Try out the new class called Spontaneous Creativity thorough Painting, which is designed to break down self-critical barriers to expressing yourself.  Craft options include making a felt flower brooch, a personal mobile, beaded earrings or a knitted monster.

For children, the Art Bugs class introduces preschoolers to the joys of working with art materials and clay classes are always popular with older siblings.

Consult the museum’s website at http://www.macniderart.org for complete descriptions or call 641-421-3666 for more information and to register.
