MASON CITY – Pending favorable weather conditions, the City of Mason City will be treating the city owned parking lots in the downtown area for weed control on Friday, June 22, 2012.
Residents are asked to avoid these areas if at all possible during this time.
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for the product to be applied are available in the City Administrator’s office located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall.

I really don’t think the city “fathers” have to worry about Mason City-ians staying out of the city parking lots following the weed spraying…most of them are shopping in the various out-lying malls anyway…and will continue to do so well into the future!
