MASON CITY – In honor of Bicycle Safety Month, Wal-Mart and the Mason City Police Department have teamed up to keep our children safe through a May Bike Rodeo Event.
Come join the fun and learn how to ride safely. The event is Saturday, May 19, from 10 a.m. until noon. Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
Get together with the Mason City Police Officers and bring your bike for a FREE safety inspection and ride the bicycle safety course.
The Mason City Police Department will demonstrate the bicycle safety guidelines and there will be helmet fittings.
There will be a bike and helmet give-away. One for a girl and one for a boy.
Mason City residents can receive bicycle registration through Mason City Police Department.
