MASON CITY – At approximately 8:20 AM Monday, a two vehicle accident with injury was reported.
Mason City Police Department and Mason City Ambulance were at the scene at 15th Street and South Federal.
The caller reported that she had been struck from behind by a male driver and was concerned about her neck. The man declined medical treatment.
There was major frontal damage to the man’s vehicle, while the woman’s van that was struck had rear bumper damage and was able to drive away.
Both vehicles were facing westbound when authorities arrived on the scene.
