MASON CITY – The Mason City Fire Department responded to a fire at Tugs Daycare and Preschool located at 950 N. Illinois Avenue around 3:30 pm Tuesday afternoon.
Thanks to a caller, who gave us a tip that a fire had broke out at Tug’s, we were able to get some photos.
The Fire Marshall was already on scene investigating the fire. The fire did it’s most damage in the back, north corner of the building. This would be the back walls of the garage or storage area.
No one was hurt. Alliant Energy was called to inspect the damage.
