As a continuation of work on the 19th Street SE and Mason Creek Culvert widening project, additional storm sewer installation is scheduled to begin the week of September 19th. The affected area is between Pine Hill Court and South Virginia Avenue.
On Monday September 19th, 19th Street SE will be closed to all traffic between Pine Hill Court and South Virginia Avenue for a period of approximately two weeks to complete work relating to storm sewer improvements and street reconstruction. During this period, South Rhode Island Court and Pine Hill Court will be accessible off 19th Street SE from South Kentucky Avenue.
Stay alert and exercise caution when traveling near the construction zone. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the construction zone if possible. Please direct any questions to the Mason City Engineering Department at (641) 421-3605.
