President Obama picks ISU, Iowa to get bounced out of NCAA tourney early

NIT – The state of Iowa helped propel President Barack Obama into office, but he doesn’t have much faith in our basketball teams as they head into the NCAA Tournament.

As is his yearly ritual, President Obama – basketball fanatic, who regularly plays the game – released his bracket of picks for this year’s NCAA Tournament. He has the Iowa Hawkeyes out of the tournament in the “second” round, beaten by number six UMass (that is, if Iowa can get by Tennessee in a play-in game tonight.)

More astonishingly, the President has top-ten ranked and Big 12 Champion Iowa State bounced in the third round by a very mediocre North Carolina team.

Iowa plays Tennessee tonight in order to gain an 11 seed and face six seed UMass in round two.  Iowa State has a 3 seed and opens the tournament against North Carolina Central (28-5, 15-1 MEAC) Friday in the second round.

Michigan State is the favorite in Las Vegas at 4-1 odds to win the title, by the way, and the President went with those odds and picked the Spartans.

Is the President right, or will Iowa or ISU make a serious run and prove him wrong?

Well that does it! I’ll never vote for him again!

Remember, if you like your bracket, you can keep your bracket.

Would you expect any less. Remember. Give many pickup and gun an there’re happy
