MASON CITY – The businesses in downtown Mason City along the Streetscape project area will be assessed a 16% tax hike to help pay for the improvements.
The project is behind schedule and won’t be completed on time, potentioally having a negative affect on these businesses. Should the 16% tax be lowered? Was it fair in the first place? Share your thoughts.
