Iowa Republican sent to prison for rolling back odometers on used cars to make bigger profits
CEDAR RAPIDS – An Iowa man who ran for state Legislature as a Republican and helped hatch a scheme to roll back odometers on used cars was sentenced to federal prison this month.

Suspect told an acquaintance that he was working for the ATF, and he needed to seize the acquaintance’s firearms, then took seven firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition from the acquaintance.
