At the entrance to the Shellrock Preserve Campground, there have had problems with vehicles leaving the roadway and “four-wheeling” in the snow near the equestrian area. With the warm weather, they have been creating ruts in the sod. Therefore the gate to the area will remain locked until further notice. It seems someone is jealous because he or she wasn’t hired for a State job. People tend to envy others that make a living but have not idea how hard or how many hours someone works. Management must do the work to document problems and do regular evaluations of employees.

Warmer weather will soon be here for all of us to enjoy. With that, motorcycles will start to be out on a regular basis too. While you might be able to hear the motorcycles, you can’t always see them, so please drive carefully. Remember, loud pipes can save lives.
Problem is most people on motorcycles don’t follow the simple rules of the road. Most ride like idiots.

Decent people don’t ride through neighborhoods and downtown areas blasting their obnoxious tailpipe exhaust noise. Only self serving pigs would think of blasting their tailpipes when a mother is pushing her infant in a stroller. Dress up the pig anyway you like it, but the pig is still a pig. Guys and Gals who operate legal EPA approved tailpipes and mufflers are lauded, and even those who have louder pipes but don’t crank them when they are in populated areas are okay too. It’s the self serving pigs that are on my shit list.

Musicians, designers, scenic artists, film technicians, stagehands, bricklayers, laborers, electricians, carpenters, plumbers, dockworkers, operators, sheet metal workers, iron workers, boilermakers, painters, millwrights, mechanics, pipe fitters, sprinkler fitters, steelworkers, construction workers, teachers, police officers, paramedics, firefighters, sanitation workers, road workers, etc., are NOT the enemy.
Unions are responsible for
• weekends
• paid vacation
• sick pay
• social security
• the 40-hour work week
• pensions
• unemployment insurance
• child labor laws
• overtime pay
• the 8-hour work day, and
• workplace safety laws.
The rich who created this crisis are pitting middle class families against each other. We live here, pay taxes, work hard, and try to support our families, too.
