NIT – Presidential contender Hillary Clinton was in Mason City Monday, visiting a home that has hosted political parties in the past.
Without much fanfare, Gary Swenson with Dean Genth welcomed a “delightful visitor” Monday to their home Mason City in Mrs. Clinton, Democrat.
“If I liked her before, I like her now amazingly more. Personal one on one conversation revealed an erudite, personable, and capable individual,” Gary Swenson said via social media.
About 40 people attended.
Mrs. Clinton is not attending major events nor holding large rallies at this time during her campaign. She is sticking to very small events, like this one at a private residence.
Democrats routinely meet at this home for political “parties”. Jack Hatch had a fundraiser there during his failed bid for governor; he lost in a landslide.

When I say viable I mean enough people will vote for them to become president, not that they would be good at the job.

People have difference of opinions on many subjects, take religion for one. This is a strong area for me so in my opinion anybody that is against isreal is against the United states. To me that means jeb bush leaves alot to be desired. In my opinion I like 2 guys, 1 is running and 1 isn’t, I like walker and west but then again there is Norris too but he isn’t running either.

Liberals like to say that but the truth was it was voted for by a Democratic Congress including Hillary Clinton. You guys always seem to forget that. Your comments about religion is spot on. Hillary Clinton, and the entire congress at the time, are 100% as culpable as president Bush, but this does not mean it wasn’t a disaster. Santorum is a joke. I’m not covering that guy’s activities. I went to several of his events during the last election. Same old tired message. He has no chance in this election. By the way, I did report that he would be here, where he would be, and all that essential information. Hillary’s camp never truly released all the critical information; it was a secret event. I knew where she would be simply because there’s only one place those people go.
