After “ambush”, Steve King asks for campaign cash

NIT – Right-winger Steve King called his discussion this week with two Latino persons in the country illegally an “ambush” and then asked for campaign cash to “spread” his “conservative message”.

King was at a bar in Okoboji, Iowa, early this week along with fellow conservative Rand Paul of Kentucky when they were confronted by two young people who called themselves “Dreamers” – children brought to America by their parents from foreign lands.

A testy back-and-forth ensued, and King has been blasted in the media since then for grabbing the young woman’s wrist.

King fired back after a video of the exchange went viral.

“I was recently ambushed at one of my events by illegal aliens who were upset about my stand against Obama’s amnesty,” King said, going on the counter-attack. “I have no problem with engaging in thoughtful dialogue with those who are willing to listen. Unfortunately, these people were more interested in attacking me for wanting to uphold our country’s laws.”

“The President is essentially telling Central American families that the United States has suspended its immigration laws and that they will be given a free pass into our country,” King said. “This is just another instance of President Obama’s blatant abuse of power.

“My conservative colleagues and I took a stand by passing tough legislation in the House to enforce our nation’s immigration laws. The bill is filled with solutions that I fought to have included, and now it is up to the Senate to get it to the President’s desk.

“Securing the border has always been one of my top priorities. Unlike Barack Obama, I’ve actually been to the border to see the crisis up close. And unlike Barack Obama, I can be counted on to defend the Constitution and the rule of law,” King claimed, before asking for financial help in his campaign against Democrat Jim Mowrer.

“Any contribution you can make right now will go a long way toward spreading my conservative message,” he said.

It’s funny that when King stood up to go toe to toe with these illegals that Senator Rand Paul got up in mid-burger and ran away. Whether I think King was correct or not is up to public debate, but I think that Senator Paul getting up and running away speaks volumes. King could have used an ally and help with those illegals, not someone to run away. And to think, that guy wants to be president….

I saw that video and then I saw the interview with rand, when I saw the video I saw rand paul standing in the background talking to someone holding a mic and when I saw the interview he said that before the illegals came up they asked him for an interview and he said after he takes a couple bites of his burger. I know you only see what you want to see just as you hear what you want to hear, My eyes and ears are open so I can see and hear all.

I don’t blame people like Steve King for wanting to maintain racial integrity. It’s really not something to be massively ashamed of like many on the Left have painted it to be. Ironic that anthropologists who discover tribes in the Amazon, argue for them to be left alone to maintain racial and cultural integrity, but in higher ordered society, humans are labelled “racist” if they don’t want their genes mixed down. I find a certain uniqueness to Swedes having blonde hair & blue eyes. 🙂

It’d be tantamount to every dog breed being mixed down to a mutt. Would the people of the world like to see every unique dog species that we’ve come to enjoy and love become indistinguishable cross breeds? Probably not. I love that Siberian Huskies have minty blue eyes and beautiful white and black fur. I think sensible precautions can be taken for the world’s regions to insure their racial DNA integrity is maintained, while still being fair to others, and non persecutorial.

Just because some on the Left would LOVE to see the “browning of America” (because they want white people punished for past misdeeds), doesn’t mean Hispanics have the right to gang rush the border and brown up the gene pool in their favor. There are unique differences in Mexican culture that have NOT been properly assimilated into the American ethos. For one is HOW THEY TREAT THEIR ANIMALS. I even heard one man REFER TO MEXICO in defending the deplorable conditions he keeps his dogs in

Quite the “philosophy” there, Adolf Philosophus.

To become a Buddha, you have to be willing to adopt all thought forms, viewpoints from all angles, simultaneously, both respective and irrespective…chew them up, ingest them, extract what’s nutrition, and poop out what’s not. How can you know your positions, if you’re scared of the others? “All Things Considered”, is I believe what the NPR program names it. I’ve realized to be free, you have to be everything and nothing.

While you have a modicum of intelligence, you sorely lack any common sense.

To put it bluntly, you talk more crap than your ass can produce.

nice word: particle, speck, fragment, scrap, crumb, grain, morsel, shred, dash, drop, pinch, soupçon, jot, iota, whit, atom, smattering, scintilla, hint, suggestion, tinge…

My ass is not tasked with “producing”, but rather thinking. From a small seed comes a mighty tree. Thoughts have to arise from somewhere. I’m your paid thinker. That’s my job. But wait, oh yeah, I produce as well. 🙂

And the bottom line is I think Steve King’s special “Clown Race” should be protected. He’s fighting for his gene pool people…can’t you see that? Remember a Clown Race is different from a Clown Profession.

Here here.

Rand Paul ran away faster than Jesse Jackson does from a paternity suit.

After all the smoke and mirrors, Iowa Legislator Steve King is right on the money with his views on immigration,.

While I get the bias in the media against Steve King, he is still the best Iowa representative for us there is.

I will vote for him again in spite of some of my disagreements. He is head and shoulder better than and Demarat candidate for the US House of Representatives!

Sorry

It’s amazing how many people have been brainwashed, either that or they just don’t care anymore.

Let’s see.

Steve King – far right obstructionist not willing to work in a bipartisan environment.
College drop out after safe from the draft.
Hypocrite, chicken hawk and pretty much Iowa’s bat-shit crazy version of Michele Bachmann.

Jim Mowrer – moderate democrat willing to work with others on solving issues.
Iraq war veteran served 1-133 Infantry Battalion – 23 months.
Bachelors Degree in Political science and Masters in public policy

Yep, Steve King is the obvious choice.

There you go Ron, your fog is finally starting to lift.

Ah maybe, I can always count on you to either not recognize or accept the facetious nature of my final comment.

But then with you, the fog as you so eloquently put it, is a permanent environment in your mind.

Which does explain the vast majority of your comments.

I recognize the nature of your comment, that’s why I said what I said. What I don’t understand is this, I look at the world today and I see it on a downward spiral. I am blaming the condition of the United States on both republicans and democrats but the thing that blows my mind is that the majority of the democrats think there is no problem and they want to continue doing what we are doing. Are their eyes completely different than mine?

Amusing comment there maybe.

You “claim” to blame both parties for issues, yet all (and I mean ALL) of your comments are directly aimed at the Democrats alone.

You “claim” to be an independent, yet all of your comments are very far right leaning.

You “claim” to be an objective person, yet all of your comments are directed in a very, very narrow view.

Claim what you will, but your words speak differently.

Some republicans that I see want whats best for our country but they give in to the bullying techniques of the left so yes they are part of the problem, democrats want to make policy that they say is best for our country but are actually making things worse so yes most of my comments are directed towards the democrats because if they got their heads on straight these rinos would follow suit.

So you are not the “independent” that you have claimed be in the past.

So you are the far right leaning, tea party like and narrow view point person that I alluded to.

Good for you maybe!
Huge props and kudos!

You have admitted to your problem and that is the first step!

I’m here for ya.

I am an independent but I have fallen into the age old trap, vote for the lesser of the 2 evils and actually the way I see it, these terrorists that are muslims out right say that if you don’t convert they will kill you so they tell you what they will do, democrats will tell you the opposite of what they will do. Looking back in history I really liked Kennedy and I would have voted for him, none since then have been equal or even close.

Ron, I found this article and thought I would share. You might think that it is about how bad the democrats are but really it isn’t about politics but a state of mind, this article can go both ways.

Looks to this observer that Eric has a butt buddy, judging from the facial expressions.

I don’t see what the big deal is about a nation’s right to secure their borders. Obviously the Dems are looking to increase their voting bloc and it’s really quite a sneaky and dishonest way to go. I understand some of the far right liberals who want to topple white people and punish them, but that is not the answer. The answer is cultural integrity and occasional visits to say hello.

He calls that an ambush? What a wuss!

Wuss, ya nailed that one.

Considering that Steve King was a draft dodger in the late 1960’s, that is not surprising.

Graduated High School in 1967, was then granted several deferments while “attending college”.
Then, miraculously when he was “safe” from the draft, he dropped out of college and never finished.

Coincidence? Ya, right.

In 2006, King concluded that we lost that war “because we lost the will in this country.”

Freakin’ hypocrite and chicken-hawk pussy.

Do you have proof that he was a draft dodger? Besides after Clinton, being a draft dodger didn’t mean anything.

Ya maybe, it is probably just “coincidence”.

Just like when Dubya Bush went AWOL from the National guard. Just a “misunderstanding”

Ya, that’s it.

You right wing minions slay me.

what are you talking about?
