CLEAR LAKE – The Clear Lake Police Department sought help from the public in locating a missign ten girl, but thankfully, she was found safe.
Clear Lake police said late in the evening of January 23, 2026 that 13-year-old Jessalynn Jones of Clear Lake was missing. They reported that Jessalyn was last seen at her residence in Clear Lake around 8:30 PM that night and was believed to be headed to Waterloo. They also said she has black hair with red braids and was last seen wearing a light blue cropped hoodie, a black undershirt, black leggings, black Uggs and a Lululemon fanny pack.
Then, on Monday, January 26, Clear Lake police reported that Jessalynn (pictured at top) was found safe after being gone over two days.
