He graduated from Glenville High School.

He married the love of his life, Kim on August 19, 1989. The couple shared a love of animals, nature, traveling, camping, gardening, fishing and so much more. Randy’s health was never great as he had diabetes and multiple other things that certainly slowed him down. But he never complained or felt sorry for himself.

Randy could build or fix anything which came in handy for the different maintenance and mechanic positions he held over the years. He attended NIACC and received a welding certification along with other maintenance courses. Randy had worked for various factories and medical facilities doing line work, maintenance mechanic, and security positions.

Once he had Facebook and the internet, that was his favorite pastime. It kept him in touch with his friends and especially his nieces and nephews.

Kim drove him crazy doing multiple projects and knew how to use his skills and talents. He had many hobbies over the years. He loved motorcycles, race cars, country dancing, guns, fishing and much much more.

Those left to cherish Randy’s memory are his beloved wife, Kim; brothers, Russell Behrends Jr. (Cheryl) and Ricky Behrends (Sara); brother-in-law, Marcus Peterson (Sarah); mother-in-law, Sharon Peterson; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
